  1. Yeah I see what your saying. Right now a mb that looks appealing to me is the razer version of the taichi board I have it's on new egg for $235. I wanted to spend at most $200 so I'll definitely look at the used market thank you.
  2. Essentially what I want is a new motherboard that doesn't feel like I'm downgrading my motherboard but it costs less than my taichi mb. I spent around $270 for that mb and It was a good board but I don't want to spend that much again for an older generation cpu. I bought my mb 3 years ago and I'm pretty sure it's out of warranty by now. The most important thing for my new mb is that it has 3 m.2 slots since I have 3 ssds.
  3. I only have 70% isopropyl alcohol on hand and the thermal paste I'm using is from nuctua. I saw youtube videos of people putting in alcohol on the socket and using a tooth brush to clean. I tried doing the same thing but I just but in a little bit of alcohol to clean.
  4. I think the issue might be the CPU or the AIO water cooler because the head pump RGB is not lighting up. The issue could also be the PSU. I don't really know how to trouble shoot my PC in this condition. What do you think I should be doing right now? PC Specs: [PCPartPicker Part List](https://pcpartpicker.com/list/hfB3Wt) I looked at each of the dr.debug codes and I couldn't find any reference to them what do they mean? 5. I dont think there are sensors to check, I tried looking for them.
  6. PCPartPicker Part List: https://pcpartpicker.com/list/sQGPLP CPU: AMD Ryzen 7 3700X 3.6 GHz 8-Core Processor ($329.99 @ Best Buy) Motherboard: ASRock X570 Taichi ATX AM4 Motherboard ($299.99 @ Newegg) Memory: OLOy WarHawk RGB 32 GB (2 x 16 GB) DDR4-3600 CL18 Memory ($149.99 @ Newegg) Storage: Sabrent Rocket 512 GB M.2-2280 NVME Solid State Drive ($69.98 @ Amazon) Storage: Samsung 970 Evo 1 TB M.2-2280 NVME Solid State Drive ($139.99 @ Amazon) Video Card: EVGA GeForce RTX 3070 8 GB XC3 ULTRA GAMING Video Card ($1098.00 @ Amazon) Case: Fractal Design Meshify C ATX Mid Tower Case ($99.98 @ Newegg) Power Supply: Corsair CXM 750 W 80+ Bronze Certified Semi-modular ATX Power Supply ($104.89 @ Amazon) Total: $2292.81 So its been over a year and I have always been having this issue of my pc randomly restarting while im gaming it sometimes happens while im doing other stuff. When I check event viewer it says my pc crashed because of Kernel power 41 which is a PSU related error. I have gotten an RMA twice from corsair and got new psus but this issue would always happen. I even swapped out different pc parts including motherboard to see if I have other deflective components, but no even when i use my evga psu nothing happens at all when I use my corsair psu, my game restarts but in a very specific place in the game and not all games, but sometimes it just restarts randomly. So I have tried everything software and hardware related I dont know how to fix my problem I don't know what to do anymore. Could it be possible that the electricity in my house isn't reaching the psu properly? I also cant use my EVGA psu because its 500 wats and I need a 750 watt psu for my 3070. For example Im trying to play Rouge Company and whenever i go and play the tutorial mission and start hitting the dummy my pc would just restart in the place all the time. For gta it only restert once with the new rma psu, but the old psu it would restart my pc more often.
  7. Just to make things clear I know and understand 100% that no one should do this, but im just asking is okay for just a temporary solution. I originally had issues with my PC it won't boot, but it worked fine before and I had a cor750-watt watt psu. Did a lot of troubleshooting and found out my PC isn't working well because of the power supply? I replaced it with a 500 EVGA evga bq psu just to see if my PC will boot not to play games or anything, and my PC booted. So can I just keep my PC like this according to PC part pickers im using about 419 watts (including other PC parts SSD ssd and motherboard, )? I just need it like this until I get my rma psu and that takes about a week. Right now im not using my PC at all it's shut off but can I use it like this?
  8. Yeah, I have an old PC I can swap out parts and troubleshoot there buts going to be a pain in the ass. Anyway thanks for the help.
  9. So I followed the MB guide on how to reset the CMOS followed that, but I still don't see the code
  10. In the io place for the MB, there is a CMOS button I pressed it but nothing happened, do you think I have to take out the physical CMOS chip and put it back in the MB?
  11. Motherboard lights turn on but when I press the power button on my case nothing else turns on. Before I downloaded gears of war my PC was running fine, boots normal and it's only a couple of weeks old. I don't know what to do please help. The first time when I downloaded the game it ran fine, but when I wanted to go play again, the game would just crash and my monitor would lose signal but my PC is still on. Then I just shut off my PC by pressing the power supply button and turning it back on, my PC booted, and when I tried to launch gears of war again the same thing happened but only this time I can't start up my PC. 12. Not just steam games, but games from Epic game store, and Ubisoft, and other apps I have installed in my desktop, also changing my windows boot drive to the new SSD. Basically what i want is all the stuff in my old SSD to go to my new SSD after that delete all the stuff in my old SSD. Is there a program or something I can do to do this? Or do I have to do everything manually?
  13. So I have a total of 2 SSDS installed in my motherboard, my old one is the Sabrent m.2 512gb and the new one is the Samsung 1tb SSD. All my games and other stuff is installed in my Sabrent SSD, how do to I transfer all of that stuff to my new Samsung SSD and delete everything in my old SSD?
  14. I'm going to build a second pc and I want it to be a all white fully loaded with RGB , but I am not sure if the current White RGB CPU coolers can handle cooling the 5800x/5900x . I looked online for benchmarks and reviews but couldn't find any one who used white CPU coolers. I am no planning on overclocking I just want everything on stock settings, but I do like having the option to overclock later in the future. Also, I preferer Air coolers then Liquid coolers, but that doesn't really mater for me as long as there white and RGB ill take it. Case i'm using Here is what I looked at: i know none of these air coolers are well known, but they do fit in my requirements Enermax ETS-T50 Axe Vetroo V5 White CPU Air Cooler Zalman CNPS 16x I found some Liquid coolers that I like as well ID-COOLING ZOOMFLOW 240X Snow CPU Water Cooler SHARKHAN APEX240 Water CPU Cooler Enermax Aquafusion These are well known brand names but there hella expansive Corsair Hydro Series, H100i ASUS ROG Strix LC 240 Lian Li GA240A Galahad
  15. I have seen Benchmarks with a similar system to the one I have, but with better CPUS, and the performance doesn't improve that much. The CPU I have Right now is not good and if I upgrade it it there will definitely be a performance boost, but I don't think I would be able to get high FPS and High settings with just a CPU and Storage upgrade Edit: Also New gen CPUS are on the way, and im not sure if I should wait or if the new gen CPUs aren't really worth it.
  16. Yeah I read other stuff as well, it could be a software Issue or CPU. I have troubleshooted every software thing I can ever do in the post I listed it out what I did. The only thing I haven't test out is the PSU and you Can't test a PSU because there Isn't any sensors in it to detect if its overheating or if its not giving out enough power is is giving to much power, I know there are external tools I can use, but thats to complex, the only way I can know for sure if my problem isn't a PSU issue if I get a new PSU. Edit: Also when my pc restarts I hear a load "CLICK" sound and I think its from my PSU. i don't hear it when I turn off my PC like normal.
  17. Budget (including currency): $1000 (U.S) but I want to try to spend about $700 Country: United States Games, programs or workloads that it will be used for: Mostly gaming, Adventure, Open World, FPS, and Strategy games are the ones I will be using my PC for. Current PC Build: PCPartPicker Part List: https://pcpartpicker.com/list/gYswht CPU: AMD Ryzen 3 2200G 3.5 GHz Quad-Core Processor (Purchased For $80.00) Motherboard: ASRock B450 Steel Legend ATX AM4 Motherboard (Purchased For $109.00) Memory: Team T-Force Delta RGB 16 GB (2 x 8 GB) DDR4-3200 CL16 Memory (Purchased For $70.00) Storage: Sabrent Rocket 512 GB M.2-2280 NVME Solid State Drive (Purchased For $60.00) Video Card: XFX Radeon RX 5600 XT 6 GB THICC II Pro Video Card (Purchased For $270.00) Case: NZXT H510 ATX Mid Tower Case (Purchased For $70.00) Power Supply: Corsair CXM 750 W 80+ Bronze Certified Semi-modular ATX Power Supply (Purchased For $82.00) Total: $741.00 My Goal: I want to be able to play most games at high settings at 1440p and around 80-144fps. I have around $1,000 to upgrade my pc. However I don't know what's the best way to do this. I don't want to have to spend anymore money on my pc to upgrade it for at least the next 2-4 years in the future. So should I just go and sell my current CPU and GPU to go and buy a better current gen AMD CPU and buy the newer gen GPU, or do you think it would be better for me to sell my whole pc and just build a new one, with the newest motherboard so that I can buy next gen CPU and have pcie 4. I really enjoyed building my computer and I really want to build a new one just because its fun and I get newer gen stuff, but would that be a good idea? Would it be better to just sell CPU and GPU and upgrade them or sell the whole PC and build a new one? Another question is when should I upgrade or sell my pc or should I do something completely different? And if I sell my PC how much should I sell it for, I live in California around San Francisco so there should be some people with deep pockets and I have a lot of RGB in my PC. Pictures of Current PC:
  18. My old GPU was the APU in the CPU. I know its not my graphics card because I used Fur benchmark (for 3 hours) and other benchmarks to test my GPU and my PC Never restarts, It only restarts when I play games or go on zoom or use the magnifying tool in windows. Its a PSU problem because I get Event ID 41 and I don't get any other errors when my pc crashes. Edit: But if my issue still occurs after I get a new PSU, I will for sure try to swap the GPU with the APU for troubleshooting.
  19. So should i, Cancel the RMA request some how and make a new request detailing what I have done?
