  1. I actually have a fan hub controller that is on the back of the case. Otherwise, great idea. I also believe I'll have some kind of rbg control with my motherboard (B450 gaming plus) but am honestly a complete noob at RGB. In fact, I wanted to set it up as subtle as possible.
  2. How difficult would it be to mod the case a bit and add a raspberry pi with a display of the current CPU, GPU, and internal temps of the PC? (or maybe just a cool looking visual?)
  3. Fair enough, I wasn't sure which one was correct... My apologies.
  4. I am building in a phanteks enthoo pro (full size). I would like to keep both HDD cages, and am left with a roughly 6"x6" square above where I might put an optical drive if I cared to. Since the front of the case at the top is closed, I am completely lost for ideas of what I could even put up there since I have plenty of room for everything else... Any ideas would be greatly appreciated!! I am open to aesthetic or performance/cooling options!
  5. ASUS ROG STRIX B450-F GAMING AM4 AMD B450 SATA 6Gb/s ATX AMD Motherboard VS GIGABYTE X570 AORUS ELITE AMD Ryzen 3000 PCIe 4.0 SATA 6Gb/s USB 3.2 AMD X570 ATX? 105 vs 160$
  6. yea i actually already have that device. Most have just been steam libraries over the years (SSDs) and 3 or so random HDDs that I need to offload into a 10 or 12 tb soon... Any input on which version of these motherboards would work best?
  7. Which version of the b450, there are like 30... lol If I am not familiar with raid other than as a concept, is it hard to learn/implement? https://www.newegg.com/msi-b450-a-pro-max/p/N82E16813144268?Description=B450-A Pro&cm_re=B450-A_Pro-_-13-144-268-_-Product
  8. Yes... What's the best variety available for the price 100-150$?
  9. i should probably mention the pc is mainly for gaming... and I also have several HDDs and SSDs (6+)
  10. If your main reason is to game with some photoshop/video editing on the side, I think the Asus VG24G is a very solid choice. Also you can easily get a wireless adapter that plugs into an available PCIe slot https://www.amazon.com/gp/slredirect/picassoRedirect.html/ref=pa_sp_atf_electronics_sr_pg1_1?ie=UTF8&adId=A03386573B3M8OYE5AZ96&url=%2FGigabit-802-11AX-2976Mbps-Bluetooth-Wireless%2Fdp%2FB07X462KRK%2Fref%3Dsr_1_1_sspa%3Fkeywords%3Dwifi%2Bpcie%26qid%3D1575203799%26s%3Delectronics%26sr%3D1-1-spons%26psc%3D1&qualifier=1575203799&id=812475672875317&widgetName=sp_atf
  11. awesome thx! Should the arctic duo be a sufficient enough cpu cooler? Well this is awkward. Is the 3600x in stock anywhere anymore? Are there any decent deals on 650-750 Watt Bronze (or higher) PSU's that are in stock?!? [USA] My first two options for motherboards are sold out already, including the tomahawk max b450. I have the 3600x. Does anyone have any solid ATX motherboards that are comparable or even better?
  12. I have already purchased the 2070 super and i should've mentioned that earlier. Team Vulcan 3000 is slower than 3600 and I've heard from almost everyone that ram speed is super important with AMD CPUs.
  13. personally, i would strongly prefer the nvidia 2070 super as my GPU. I would also strongly recommend a much stronger CPU cooler, perhaps even an AIO water cooler (corsair h110 or similiar) since your case is rather small and these CPUs get quite hot. I assume you are planning to purchase more and larger hard drives later? If not, I feel that you need at least 4 TB since you will fill 1 TB in weeks if you are anything like me...
