Yes, if you use Oculus Link it will be the PC version with whatever graphics settings your PC can handle. Though there will also be a little bit of fidelity loss from the compression.

from looking at the reviews you probably could not use this particular device for 3d scanning.  This seems like its more meant for 3d photography and from the users pic in the review it doesn't seem to do it well.

    Hi @Dogggo

What about using software to do the rendering from normal photos to make the 3D models, for example, Strata's  Foto 3D CX. At about $400 it is not as cheap as the fish eye lens kit, but apparently there is a free trial available (Mac/PC).

If you want sound quality at this price point look at the Koss GMR series

The G431 is very similar to the G430 while the G433 is a mostly different product. The G433 is better all-around.

They are all slim cases, probably offering minimal protection in the first place. I'd probably buy the Liquid Air, if I had to choose.

make sure the direction of airflow is correct. For example, the air flow direction of your laptop cooler should be the same as the direction of airflow of the notebook. I am sure you knew that but just to make sure. (I bought a laptop cooler a couple years ago and I didn't take this into consideration =..()

The difference in performance wouldn't be a whole lot I guess, cause usually a 200m fan would spin slower and have a lower airflow than 3 120mm fans. But what I just read it looks HaveIt made the fans to be way slower than what a normal case fan speed would be. So now it comes down to more of functionality. The Cooler Master has more options on the side to turn off leds and adjust the fan speed which I think is a pretty good thing. The Cooler Master would be a better one I guess since they both perform just about similar.

The HaveIt would be more effective since you have dual fan design in your laptop and you need enough airflow for both fans.

I do like Cooler Master's design, but the 3 fans on the HaveIt would have more airflow than one 200mm on the Cooler Master. But the Cooler Master one would be more quiet. If you don't really care about silence than the HaveIt would be better.

the m.2 isn't mpcie, there differenent connectors.

But the m.2 has pcie so it can use a breakout to an external gpu, but it might not work at all, and is a pain.

Why do't you take the bottom off and look?

It has mpcie, but with a wifi card in it.

It also has a m.2 which is a lot faster normally.

But egpu in laptops like this are a pain and need the bottom removed to work, and are normally bandwidth limited. Sometimes they won't even work at all.
thats usb, you need thunderbolt for this, and it doesn't have thunderbolt

I would probably go Galax over Colorful simply because it is smaller and will be more compact and easy to deal with. Both are fine cards though. Also, keep in mind that you will have to use an older driver version or install a modified driver as NVIDIA have pulled PCIe hotplug support for 10 series cards from more recent drivers. Driver version 372.54 should work. You will also need a power supply. You can use a normal ATX compliant unit or a Dell DA2, but you will need extra cables that aren't included if you use the DA2.

I believe the difference between the v8.0 and v8.4d is that the v8.4d is ExpressCard 2 compatible (which doesn't matter for you since you're using mPCIe.)
