  1. Ok noob question. After playing PUBG, i looked at performance on task manager and it was using 90% of the VRAM. is the other 10% system reserved or something? or am I lucky and have just enough VRAM
  2. I sold my GTX 1060 SC 6gb because my friend was going to sell me his GTX 980 ti for a very good price, homie discount. Except the card turned out to be fried. My friend refunded my money, and I had to find another card. I ended up getting a GTX 980, not a 980ti sadly. I've searched on this subject, and from what I understand it seems the 980 is barely an upgrade, and it also has less VRAM. This concerns me because when I play PUBG, it appears to be using almost all the VRAM (4 gb) It seems to run slightly better, but I'm not sure. Did I upgrade, downgrade or break even? My system is i7 3770k @ 4.5 Ghz GTX 980 founders 4GB (formerly GTX 1060 SC 6GB) 16 GB DDR3 2400 Mhz (3) 512gb SSDs RAID: 0
  3. Lol the computer is a retired workstation with some upgrades. Its a HP Z420. The person who gave it to me had a bunch of ram sitting around and 20 gb is the max that he could get to work. I will check the usage more carefully, it seemed both CPU and GPU were getting a good workout
  4. I get a disappointing 30-60 fps in PUBG on medium-lowish settings. Is this my CPU holding back my GTX 1060 SC? I have an opportunity to upgrade to a i7 3770K, would gameplay be significantly improved over the xeon? Intel Xeon e5-1607 3ghz quad core EVGA GTX 1060 SC 6gb 20 gb DDr3 1600 500gb SSD
