You thought that was worth $200?! I literally got one for free because it's worth so little. This is an extremely low end GPU even when it was new.

8086k is just a pre-overclocked 8700k. when 8700k it will be about the same fast, maybe slightly worse (1-5%) for $100 less.

https://www.google.com/search?q=2k+resolution&oq=2k+re&aqs=chrome.0.0j69i57j0l4.1216j0j7&sourceid=chrome&ie=UTF-8 the 4K and 2K stem from the horizontal resolution of a 16:8 resolution. 2K is not 1440p.

Did you not watch the videos? It's a good 20-40 FPS in every single game. Not to mention a much higher minimum FPS, the min FPS is higher than the Ryzen's average. So it's much smoother to play with the 8700k.

Well as you can see in the above two videos, and the user.benchmark scores of the two CPUs at stock speeds. The 8700k gets quite a lot more FPS in games. I also hope that this is the last time I need to point that out, because I'm fairly certain that I already made this point clear to you before.

is spending all my savings on a computer worth it?
Mio85 replied to echy's topic in New Builds and Planning
Well if you have no bills or anything, then sure. Buy yourself a GTX 1080 and i7 8700k PC. -
If you're gaming, don't bother with Ryzen. A 8700k OC's will get about 30% more FPS than an OC'd 2700x. So if you plan on doing 144hz gaming, you'll want to avoid Ryzen at all costs tbh.

Based on the recent Vega Release, I would wait and see. Currently AMD doesn't really have a foothold in the GPU market.

Any games? Okay I'll suggest a variety of great games that have no RNG. Strategy: Starcraft 2, Civ 5 FPS: Crysis 1,2, and 3 (3 is my favorite), Doom 2016, Battlefield 4 or 1, Farcry 5, Halflife 1 and 2, CSGO. Racing: Project Cars 2, Rocket League RPG: Fallout 3 and New Vegas, Skyrim. Fighting: Dragon Ball FighterZ MOBA: League of Legends.

Don't play MMOs or RPGs or Looters if you don't want RNG.

HELP ME!! Computer not powering up after power surge
Mio85 replied to Asyc's topic in Troubleshooting
If the computer is fried, you'd need to replace whatever parts were fried. Which in most cases would be all of them. But as John said- 14 replies
