I agree, and I can tell that a lot of artists want that "nostalgic" aspect to their music, but it just dosen't do the justice. If you put aside your personal bubble of your opinion for a sec, some (if not a lot) of consumers like that beat and want more of it. It is not cool to really duplicate music, but I think some people want that "old" beat to their new music. I do agree with you that a lot of good music is the type of music that diverges from the trend of ctrl-c, ctrl-v. Look at Elvis for example, he totally changed the way we listen to music back in the 70's(mark me if I am wrong). He changed the culture and made us want something different than hyms and traditional music. Now it just comes down to, sico mode or mo-bomba.  So I do agree with you, but it dosen't mean you can just close yourself off and not listen to any music at all. Find something you like and listen to it. It can anything from country, to dubstep. (feels like I tend to over complicate things) XD

Yeah, I completely agree, whilst it is getting harder to create 'New' music, I believe that good music is stuff that is being different and changing with the times though, new music being produced that sounds similar to other things is where most of the music industry is going at the moment. There are only a few decent bands and music artists that break these rules and sound different currently. What I dislike most, however, is some of the newer bands that are popping up and trying to sound like 70's or 80's music, it's really not the same as music to that era that experimented with sound more and techniques. I think part of it is the processing of the music too that plays a big part in this.

That the average schlub looking for a "gaming rig" probably wouldn't know what a Xeon is, and would scroll on by.  By being vague in the title, they can get the click to see more.

I doubt it, there is something fishy about the seller.

nice catch, more fish. The sale is a bit smelly, still digestable maybe. With that many sales, I'd be interested to click on the items the seller sells to see if its primarily computer stuff or not. Well I did do check it out, its all pc stuff. How odd, so very odd. Stinky as fuck. The next step is to see what is the average title he types out for his products. That is more time intensive.

I looked at a few of the other items.

That seller is slick as fuck!

    Be careful!

It does not list the cpu until deep deep down into the page, makes one wonder what they are hiding.
For the price, you could do better, but it does come with a 1060, so you maybe onto something.
Check out other prices with pc's that come with a 1060 and see how much that 1060 is worth.

    Also a seller with
    cobratype (3941 ) 99.8%
That does not know how to list an item properly, makes one wonder. Notice how the seller made all caps QUAD, then mentions the 1060 ssd and 16gb. Makes one wonder.
    QUAD 3.20Ghz • NVIDIA GTX 1060 • SSD • 16GB
Also this, also makes me wonder about the seller. Hitting all the key aspects except the one most important aspect of the item up for sale, not mentioned until the fine fine print, where you have to scroll down. Interesting selling game that seller is doing. Gaming PC

Just tell them your phone died, there's no real way to sugarcoat this. Preferably do it sooner rather than later.

Also, 200 can get you a decent phone that should last until you can get a new one.

I was researching random topics as one does on the internet and I stumbled upon Projector Based Artificial Skylights. They use solids light filters that mimic the chemical composition of our atmosphere and shine a projector at it thus creating an illusion of sunlight. I also think this is something Linus might be interested in covering at some point.

I wouldnt say that its a rampant issue for forum members, seeing as there is only one other post about it.

That being said, the kickstarter was for a prototype(that they worked on for over 3 years, and i could have made in about 20 minutes with stuff in my garage), which tells me that this was vaporware from the start.

it would be interesting to have @LinusTechor @nicklmg address this concern as they didnt do it in the other thread.

Weird... maybe try updating the drivers for your mic, also install malwarebytes and adw cleaner to see if that fixes the notification errors. Links=https://www.malwarebytes.com/
    https://www.malwarebytes.com/adwcleaner/

Next lets try to get that drive fixed search in your bottom left and type in create and format hard disk partitions. Find the device in there and see where it is originating from.
    Hope this helped

The old thread in the vBulletin forum got lost in the migration (don't worry I still have access to it and I'll still look at it) so I'm creating a new one.

    Guidelines
       1. Video should be possible to watch in 1-2 minutes.  2. No elaborate props. If we can't shoot it in the white box with a couple of demonstrative pieces, it's probably not feasible.  3. Keep it simple! The idea here is to simplify computer concepts to the point where your mom can understand it. Not looking for "how to peel the ramspreaders off your memory"    I will read these suggestions, but I may not reply to this thread very often. That doesn't mean I'm not paying attention, it just means I'm busy creating lots of new video content     If you haven't heard of Tech Quickie, it's another YouTube channel we run for paid content and the ever-popular "Fast As Possible" series.   Techquickie's channel - YouTube   http://youtube.com/techquickie   Learn about the latest cool technology in only a couple minutes!
