I have never built any PC before and would greatly appreciate guidance! I was thinking of building a PC that has a good gaming experience and is good for school (but also has "ultimate value"). I recently watched one of Linus's videos ("Ultimate Value Gaming Build Guide") from back in 2014, but that build used a mid-tower case, which isn't the portability I'm looking for. I was planning on using the suggested parts here:
However, I want to make a MINI gaming PC that I can fit in my carryon and bring between home and school. I am considering the following replacement parts:
A smaller case: a slim fractal one, or a corsair carbide compact one
A mini motherboard: Gigabyte GA-Z270N-WIFI with Intel Z270 Express Mini-ITX Motherboard - LGA1151 Socket
Would the remaining parts fit if I stuck with his build? What other suggestions and guidance do you guys have?
Thank you so much!!
