  1. Hi, i have a ASUS TUF Gaming GeForce RTX 3070 Ti OC Edition 8GB Graphics Card It's quite a large card with 3 fans, what's the best EGPU enclosure ? https://www.asus.com/Motherboards-Components/Graphics-Cards/TUF-Gaming/TUF-RTX3070TI-O8G-GAMING/techspec/ Thanks, Ben
  2. That's what i thought... i waited 8 months for a GPU and now i get crashes fml!! Both should be under warranty, i'll do some emailing i think haha
  3. Hi, i'll check and update you - This used to happen on my 2060 too
  4. Hi, I'm having issues on every game with crashing. I think it might be CPU / Motherboard related. before i bought some new components... I recently bought a new PSU, RAM and GPU - See pcpartpicker below https://uk.pcpartpicker.com/list/snLGK3 I can play pretty much every game at high 1440p 144hz but i get crashing on every single game, can anyone help? Give me some things to try? Thanks, Ben
  5. Hi, I have a dell XPS 7590 - i5 9300h, 1650, 64gb ram and 512SSD I have 1 HP Z27k G3 and I'm looking at buying another. What's the best way for me to use the two monitors? at the moment, i use 1 USB type c to my laptop. will it be as simple as using the HDMI for the 2nd monitor? Will the 2nd display be 4k 60hz ? Bit of a stupid question i know... but i'd rather check now before spending £400+ on a monitor Thanks, Ben
  6. Hi all, hope you're all well. I will be tiding up ethernet cables that are in a patch panel ( see linked image https://ibb.co/zRmvbtt ) but i believe that there are about 50% of the ethernet cables that aren't in use. What's the best way for me to test if an ethernet cable is in use? most ports in the building aren't numbered or labelled so i have no idea where most of them go to. I looked at an ethernet cable tester, that would be useful but probably not what i need :/ What's the best way to go about it? Thanks, Ben
  7. Hi all, hope you're all well. I need some assistance with setting up a video conferencing room. We have a tv, spare pc's and laptops but in terms of connecting multiple microphones and a camera i may need some help. Please see image linked for the layout of the room https://ibb.co/gdVkDvd Any advice would be much appreciated, the budget i have been given is £300 Thanks, Ben
  8. Would anyone be able to help me? There's a windows XP pc at my work which uses a software called Label Gallery 2.0 but isn't supported on windows 10 and I can't find a download for that software anymore for windows XP. As a company we use .LBL files for our lable printers, I can't find any software to convert the files and use on Windows 10 What's the best way to go about things? Thanks, Ben
  9. Hi everyone. I am looking for a new cpu and motherboard but i'm not sure if i should go either intel or amd. I'm not sure if to wait for ryzen 5000 series or new intel cpu's. Also, i already have a Noctua NH-L9i i was going to buy a i7 10700 ( locked cpu as i was hoping to keep the temps down without having to buy a new cooler too as that cooler suggests not to go over 65w ) Here are my current specs from my current build minus the cpu and motherboard. https://uk.pcpartpicker.com/list/4YCm8J As i don't have a working gaming pc at the moment, i was thinking of buying a b550 or x370 motherboard and a ryzen 3100 just for the time being as even that is an upgrade on my old specs, and wait for ryzen 5000 series or even wait for ryzen 3000 series to come down in price a bit. My budget is £300 for cpu and motherboard but i can go higher if needed. i will only be playing games no editing or anything. Thanks, Ben
  10. Yeah i'll wait i thought it was going to be released much later than October! I was hoping to spending around £130 - i'm not bothered about RGB, having 2 m.2 slots would be nice my case is Phanteks Eclipse P300 ATX
  11. Hi everyone, i am upgrading my pc and need some help. I have a rtx 2060 6gb and have bought a 144hz 1440p monitor and need a new motherboard and cpu. I'm not sure if to wait for 4th gen ryzen or not. Will b550 support 3rd and 4th gen? if so, i might buy a b550 motherboard and buy a ryzen 5 3600 then upgrade to 4th generation in a year or so
  12. hi everyone. I have found two monitors i like but can't choose between them and wanted some advice. I will be buying 4th gen ryzen depending on release date and have a rtx 2060 6gb gpu Monitor 1: https://www.amazon.co.uk/dp/B083S87D5K/?coliid=I7JC7NYTUC3G4&colid=16JLWVEYZYJPP&psc=1&ref_=lv_ov_lig_dp_it Monitor 2: https://www.box.co.uk/Acer-Nitro-XV272UP-27-WQHD-HDR-IPS-Free_2450002.html#DetailTop
  13. Hi everyone - I took my pc apart and the gpu fits inside the pcie 16x slot perfectly ( outside the case ) This probably sounds ridiculous but it's almost like the gpu isn't long enough to fit all the way in as the mounting holes are correct but depth wise not long enough i have checked for cables underneath and for any capacitors and the left side just won't go in despite the right side clicking into place. The left side is probably 20% in :\ Can anyone help? ( Images below )
  14. Hi everyone I bought a new case which is the ' Phanteks Eclipse P300 ATX ' ( link below) and my 2060 doesn't click into the pcie 16x. i can get it about 60/70% of the way in. i have a mini itx board as i had a SG13B before this case and fit fine - i have attached some photo's below as well as my full specs. Has anyone got any ideas?
