    RX 580 not being detected

Hi, last week i tried to update my amd drivers using the radeon software and since i have i've had problems. My gpu hasn't been detected since I've updated the drivers. I then tried to uninstall the new drivers to the old ones that worked fine, but i can't as ' there is no amd hardware detected' my gpu has power and 100% worked with no problems before hand but isn't showing up in windows at all, not even in the bios but the rgb lights are on i have to use integrated graphics as my gpu doesn't get detected. specs i5 7500 aorus amd radeon rx 580 8gb ASROCK Z270 GAMING-ITX/AC "Fatal1ty mITX" 16gb ram
  2. Hello, i have two steam accounts one is new and the other is my really old account.Using Family sharing i have combined them both into one but there is another user accessing my library and i cant play any games as there is another user accessing my library.I have changed all security passwords and recovery etc but i can't seem to get the user off my account? i've revoked all devices using the family sharing but its still locked. My library is locked when he plays a game but he can kick me off my own games when i'm playing them I've contacted steam about this a few days ago but still no response Any ideas of what to do?

    Imac external ssd help

I have a late 2013 imac with thunderbolt 1 ( I think ) and was wondering if I bought a thunderbolt 1 to type c cable & used a ssd enclosure would it be faster than my internal 1tb HDD 5200rpm Link to my imac - I have the baseline model https://support.apple.com/kb/SP687?locale=en_GB What would be the best solution to have a faster hard drive as my imac takes nearly 2 minutes to boot. Thanks

    RX 580 8gb not working

When i turn my pc on my gpu fans will go 100% and then will not work.I have to use integrated graphics like i am now as my gpu isnt working but the RGB lights are on. Also, my psu makes a high pitch noise when playing games and not when browsing the internet for example. Any idea what is the problem? my rx 580 8gb has the latest drivers, this has happened a few times.

Upgrading Dell Laptop to SSD, won't boot.

Have you used the windows usb tool before trying to use the ssd? Meaning that software is for another device then you select a usb drive... you boot to the usb on your new computer the select to install windows onto that ssd! you don't put the tool on the ssd

Will An ITX/Mini ATX Hold Me Back?

I have a sg13b ( very small case, about the same width as a ps4) and can play games at high on 1080p with 20 degrees on idle and no more than 50 while playing a game! You wont lose any performance no, just make sure you have a good cooler + maybe a fan ( i have a 120mm at the front helps alot ) The specs you want will run hotter than mine yes, but i don't think it's anything to worry about! Pcpartpicker.com has a user friendly website that helped be alot when building my pc, if you pick a case you want you can add components that will definitely fit. https://uk.pcpartpicker.com

    Should I update my i7 5960x?

Press the link below and you can pick the case you'd like, it's hard to suggest a case as it's down to personal preference! You can filter colours and if you add your hardware to build it will tell you if there will be any size limitations for example. I have a sg13b case which is very small, the measurements on the website helped me a lot when building my pc. https://uk.pcpartpicker.com/products/case/overall-list/#X=0,12808

    Building a new PC

A good build yes, whats your budget we might be able to swap some parts around but yes that's a very good pc. Will it be for just gaming or editing too? Also, do you need a monitor? if you are playing at 1080p those components are overkill.

    How long will mac last

SSD's dont break or die very often at all.I still use a 2.5inch 1tb hdd from a laptop from around 8 years ago and still works fine.An ssd especially from apple will last a very long time. Make sure you buy the amount of ram and storage you want when you purchase the device, otherwise upgrading them down the line is very very difficult. If the ssd did die apple will fix them even in about 5+ years.

    Cannot install Windows

Do you have another device that you can use to install windows ? There is a microsoft usb installer linked below, then you will need a iso also linked below. follow the steps on the microsoft installer. https://www.microsoft.com/en-gb/download/windows-usb-dvd-download-tool https://www.microsoft.com/en-gb/software-download/windows10ISO You should be able to use your activation key while setting up windows - make sure you install the right version that matches your activation key. If not, you can proceed without a key but will have a watermark and won't be able to change the background.

    Video editing specs for 1080p

For editing and gaming i recommend a ryzen 2600 or better. Do you need a new build completely or just motherboard and cpu? For $219 you can get a ryzen 5 2600x with overclocking capability. For $199 you can get a ryzen 7 1700x with 8 cores 16 thread & yet again overclocking capability. For $160 you can get ryzen 5 2600 with 6 cores 12 threads without overclocking capability I have a i5 7500 and do regret not buying ryzen, but as i only game and do light work productivity so there wont be much difference for me. If you do want to go intel there is a i3 - 8350k ( comes with no cooler ) for $185 I recommend the 7 1700x - The workstation difference is massive between the i3 8350k and 7 1700x ( press link below ) https://cpu.userbenchmark.com/Compare/AMD-Ryzen-7-1700X-vs-Intel-Core-i3-8350K/3915vs3935

    Should I update my i7 5960x?

That cpu will be fine, there isn't that much point in upgrading to a i7 8700k for example, in real world gaming performance they'll only a be 10/15 fps increase at most. what graphics card do you currently have? 32gb will be fine for well over 10 years, i still game on 8gb haha pcpartpicker.com has a large selection of cases, you can also filter colours etc and filter down the cases so all your components will fit.I have a sg13b and the website measurements helped me massively as the case is very small. Also , do you have a specific size of case in mind?
