  1. I think functionally most of them are pretty bad. Love some of the looks thou.
  2. Theres glitches already? I really hope Halo takes it to the esports main stage again. Even thou im no longer playing it competitively (sorry CSGO stronk ), i would LOVE to see scene grow. Old veterans and gods come back to contest and merge with new talented blood. Would be a pleasure to see new storylines and teams emerge.
  3. Steel maybe, but Dazed? Thats dumb imo, especially (according to what i've seen) without really much prior notice. Right call or not i guess we can only see when they play a major tournament. I heard Swag wanted them out initially, Skadoodle and AZK just agreed along. I felt that Steel should have left long ago, he did actually, about 2 months ago he said he was supposed to leave but decided to drag it out till the year's end. Def with their recent results they shouldnt have made a roster change.
  4. So did Halo 4. I guess its just campaign for halo 5 then, same as H4. Competitive Multiplayer can stay on the MCC.
  5. Totally wanted Str8 to take it. Oh well GGWP. Really great games.
  6. Which shows how good they still can be in the face of all those obstacles and being at their lowest point. Although it was also coupled with a little bit of luck.
  7. Yeah criticism was much too harsh on him, would have liked to see him leave after dreamhack winter if they lost. I think that ESEA LAN was the end. Cologne was what was left of the old NiP.
  8. Its much too early to call. So many factors are present that could make or break NiP like: Time constraint to DHW, New player (like you mentioned), pita having played with Maikelele before, possible role and playstyle changes, Maikelele's role and his attitude, and alot more factors that we probably wont know. Pita has confidence in them, thats a start. However i think its semi-delusional since he did mention that if things "go to hell" at DHW then he wont blame them as they have only been together for 3 weeks. Personally, like i said, its much too early to call. If NiP win DHW, i predict two possible outcomes. One in which they will regain their dominance in the scene and the latter being that they fluked it because of their changes and once teams get adjusted again, they will fall. If they do not win, then i think their progress has to carefully monitored over the next few tournaments to see whether Maikelele does indeed make a difference. I really hope Fiffy will be beside NiP and Pita in coaching them. His experience with the team is second to none and can squeeze out the monster potential NiP has.
  9. Oh man they had alot of insane comebacks. In their prime between august 2012 and september 2013, they had ever only lost 14 times over 20 events, and of those 14 losses, they only failed to reach 9 rounds on one occasion. Additionally, they placed top 4 in all 20 events, won 18 and reach the finals of 19/20 of them. Incredible dominance by far. P.S Thanks to Thoorin for providing those stats!
  10. Miss leading title, he didnt leave the pro scene, he just left NiP. Whether he will leave the pro scene or not is still up in the air. He has been offered a place in NiP. I agree with many that he would be such a huge asset for NiP if he does become their 6th man (coach), but then that will leave the question of what pita will do then, i guess thats pretty secondary. I expected Fiffy to leave but def not before dreamhack winter. Shows how badly NiP wants to clinch that title. I would say its extremely hard to predict who will replace fiffy, im going to guess they would favour getting an actual awper but its really hard to call with a team as versatile as NiP. Personally im really really sad to see him go, my favourite line up in csgo has finally been broken. Still remember the days where watching NiP was like watching a stomping ground on a whole new level, they played like gods and it was a sheer pleasure to watch that lineup in its prime and beyond. Its sad, but its for the better of everyone, i sure hope fiffy does come back to play for another team or coach NiP.
  11. CArn officially does not meddle in the cs team affairs anymore other than maybe arranging flights or stuff like that. Devilwalk is now in cArn's position, taking over all the tactical aspects and coaching in general. Yeah sick round by GTR. Really great game sense with that smoke on patio then walking back to the side of it to get that 4k. Shame they didnt manage to win the round thou.
  12. In all honesty JW does still look like a "cunt" Still have alot of respect for him thou. Def agree iBP can only grow with their performance. Shown again that they can play against EU teams when they put their foot down and go hard. I hope NiP does come back! I really want them to show the world they they aren't and wont be put down. cArn? If you're talking about old fnatic, I would say yeah he was a pivotal player. When anyone referred to the old Fnatic, cArn would always pop up. I personally think when f0rest and GTR joined, then they really hit it off.
  13. NiP slumping pretty badly Will be interested to see what they can pull off for ESWC and Dreamhack Winter. IBP was playing out of their minds that event, interestingly enough couldnt topple Fnatic, sorta expected them to. Next tournament for them (ESWC) will be interesting to watch on see how they will progress. C9 flops hard sometimes, still think they have alot of potential. Especially Shroud, that guy is monster when he is on fire. Fnatic had issues, it was mostly attributed to Moddi (old fnatic in game leader) who built that "terrible" attitude for the team. Not unexpected they didnt go far with that team, also to note that was their first time ever beating indomitable NiP so being young players emotions can run pretty high and can be hard to control. They have released an apology (however lame of a PR move that is), but now they are all great friends and i would say they have really matured alot, especially JW and pronax. Flusha olof and Krimz have always been very sportsman like.
  14. You mean Hiko from Cloud9 (C9). Pasha is a polish Virtus.Pro player.
  15. Hopefully with this Halo gets back to a decent level in Esports. Such nostalgia especially back in the 2008 days. P.S Optic's Halo lineup looks pretty insane.
  16. Playing T side is really dependent on the map itself. Some maps can work off simple things like 1 smoke and allow you entry onto a site, other maps require much more "work to enter a site and thus a different type of playstyle. For example, T side on de_dust 2 is relatively simple, a mid to B smoke with your team pushing mid and upper tunnels to B would fathom most opponents with minimal teamwork, just requires someone to get the entry kill. In contrast, de_inferno requires more work to get into A site, just getting the entry might not even allow you onto the site as there are many positions the CTs can fall back to. The solution is dependent on whether you have a team or not. With a team you guys can communicated and play specific styles (which i will give some examples in awhile) but in a solo queue game and all its completely different and dependent on the competence of your team. If you have a team, you can attempt to play the NiP style, which relies on getting the entry pick and then the rest of the team follows up and executes onto the site very fast, or you can play the Titan style which involves running set strats into site. If you are alone in MM you have to either make the entry for yourself and try to get yourself into the site or just generally call to your team to rush a site. Individually, playing T side is simply being able to control the map early on and able to get yourself into favorable positions to trade a CT or gain entry into a bomb site. Its all about the picks and map control as well as information to know where the CTs are positioning themselves, how they intend to hold a site, how many are on a site and what you have (in terms of flashes smokes etc) to work with to get into a bomb site. Unfortunately playing T side in MM in solo queue is very difficult if the CTs are even semi competent at holding the site. Probably the only way to make things easy is to be really good at taking gun fights and running solo strats into sites.
  17. Agree, fantastic IGL. His team is slowly adapting to his style which is a really strong mid round call style that gives opponent teams very little reaction time and exploits their weaknesses very strongly. Additionally like you mentioned, fnatic's strats are simple yet very calculative and effective, very interesting team to watch. That being said, ex6tenz from Titan is also stepping it up, he recently has been fragging really well and when they do set strats its still amazing to watch their execution and coordination as well as the complexity that goes into it.
  18. Olof mentioned he had a high fever, also he said it was no excuse. Really impressed with Titan, hope they keep the consistency up. Beating fnatic in such dominating fashion is really unexpected considering how well fnatic were doing online. Side note: HOLY SHIT THOSE 2 ACES BY JW.
  19. You're right. There wasn't any backstabbing. People like to conjure up drama. NBK stated on his twitter that 4 years of being with the former VG/Titan lineup, why would he even think of backstabbing them. Ex6tenz mentioned that originally the roster change was initiated by the ESL Cologne loss. Management, Niak (Titan's coach and manager) and Ex6tenz had the final say with the players giving in input and the removal to be ScreaM and Smithzz to bring in LDLC players Apex and Maniac. NBK however mentioned he needed time to think and when he got back to them, he stated he would like to leave the team and after Titan confirmed their replacement for NBK's departure (getting KQLY in), they made the changes. About LDLC's players not at first contacting the management and signing on with Titan its partially true, there were some discrepancies but LDLC did manage to make a counter offer in which the players refused. Side note, it was mentioned by Maniac or something that LDLC did offer pretty much the same thing as Titan did, but Titan had several key assets, those being Niak as their manager, Ex6tenz as the in game leader and the Team house. TL;DR No drama, NBK just left the team after deliberating. ScreaM and Smithzz were due to leave anyway. The player transfer between LDLC and Titan was a little messy but LDLC did manage to produce a counter offer of equal value, but Titan had other assets that the LDLC players wanted. 20. I went for the PS4 because of several exclusives and tbh microsoft lost me at their press conference last year at E3 or something. Not to say the XBONE is a terrible console, which it isnt (virtually equal specs with the ps4), but i guess sony sold me over faster than microsoft did. That being said thou, i do love the look of the ps4 esp the white one. Whether you play Destiny on the PS4 or Xbox One, its pretty much the same thing, so if you're buying a console to play Destiny, either one is perfectly fine.
  21. I personally think its not a great game (as would be the norm for Bungie), but it def lies within the context of a "perfect" gaming experience. While critically speaking, the game's story is kind of dull, a little repetitive if must and that not just goes towards the genre but the levels and what not. However i do enjoy running around doing missions with friends regardless, exploring different ventures and just general fooling around. Def not a game to be played alone. Ps4 of course.
  22. Fun fact, that 16-0 loss was the first 16-0 lost delivered to NiP in like 400 plus official matches or some crazy thing like that.
  23. The console bashing and some sublime jokes here and there (vomiting in toilet because of low refresh rate screens) def one of the most unique parts of your videos i enjoy. That and the casual touch to these videos despite the really high production quality is not something you can really find in these genre of content. Wouldnt be the same without it. I as well have benefited by making tech choices based on your videos! Saved me a whole lot of research and money, oh and props to you forum people, you guys are amazing. Keep up the great work.
  24. Shipping is free under some amazon free global shipping thing to Singapore. Taxes might be another thing. I dont really care about movies and stuff. Getting the ps4 to play the console/ps4 exclusive games purely. Side note i have a pc also, play cs competitivley so most of my time spent there for all you holy pc master racers. So if i understood correctly dlcs are region specific depending on what sony acc you have? Say for my region in SEA, if i can purchase the same dlc as my other fellow local gamers i dont really mind if i just have to wait for it as compared to getting it earlier with a EU or NA sony acc. I plan on purchasing all games locally via disk or download online. Lets say i have a SEA sony acc and i buy a game locally or online, will i be able to play it on this console still?
  25. Im looking to purchase a ps4 from amazon to Singapore, saves me like 250 SGD (original price here is 680 SGD), minus the warranty of course. My friend told me the console might be region locked meaning that locally bought game cannot run on the "american" ps4. Is that true? Also he mentioned that you can just download games, so that might not be an issue. TLDR; Im looking to save some money on getting a ps4, will there be any issues if i do get one shipped from the US?
