i've seen some benchmarks and it showed that the 2080 bearly performed better then the 1080ti and it costs way more, so whats the point in getting a 2080? ray-tracing? the 2080ti couldnt handle it well so what makes the 2080 any better with that tech..
 
in my view i really see any new GPU thats below the 2080ti is pretty much worthless, i feel like if people are looking for the best of the best to game on 4K, ultra 100+fps then they should go with with the 2080ti
 
and if people cant afford it then go with the 1080ti or lower, RTX 2070 and 2080 are pretty much not worth getting with that price point anyone agree?

so lets say money wasn't an issue and some guy wanted to build an ultimate pc that can run ALL games 4K, HDR, MAX graphics, Anti-aliasing at 144fps with his PG27UQ monitor, what would his pc spec have to be to achieve what he was looking for?

i dont know i do think its possible, since the new GPU's are optimized for 4K i do think if you pair up both 2080ti NvLink and OC while watercooling it could work but im not sorten 100% on this

and even with all these spec i still doubt i can achieve 98fps on all triple A games like tomb raider, GTA5, Rainbow Six, Battlefield 5, metro, total war, etc...
 
what do you think might help get me into 98fps at 4K, HDR, max graphics, 10bit ray-tracing? the reason why i want it at those settings is because i think it would go so well with a PG27UQ asus monitor but what would help? or do you think my spec is enough?

no the 2070 is the only one that didnt have SLI, but the 2080 and 2080ti has them trust me, theirs even pics of them in SLI

so we pretty much can see the difference between 30 and 60 fps clearly correct? and if you get +60fps we can see it being even more smoother but i think theirs a limit for example, you can bearly see any difference between 120fps - 240fps so what exactly is the limit that we can see a smoother experience in gaming? i feel like its somewhere close or around 100fps but does anyone know exactly what the number is?

so im dealing with some issue, i really want to break up with my gf, but i dont know how, i havent seen her since her birthday at February, and havent had a decent talk with her since march shes so distant and i asked why shes like that she said shes in a phase where she doesnt want to talk to anyone, its been months now and i havent seen or talked to her, and theirs just no possibility of me meeting her because her parents rarely allow her to leave the house and she never picks up the phone so my only option is to text which takes her 6-24hours to reply each text which is insane.

i owe my brother $1000, and he told me he wants the money when the new iphone comes which i heard is coming in september, only problem is that i really need the $1000 to get the GTX 1180 and i really dont wanna wait longer to get it, im really hoping the iphone comes in october, but any ideas when it'll come exactly?

i've owned a gaming laptop so did my brother, cousin and my friends and it costed us alot of money a few years ago around $1000-3000 and non of us use it, some have it to just brows the net, others (like my self) kept it in my closet, never to be used 
 
i dont know whats up with gaming laptops, the first time you buy it their amazing and just a few months of use it degrades really fast being slow using the net or gaming, giving very low fps 
 
why do laptops suck after period of time? more quickly then a desktop?

i know its weird but i have a PG27UQ monitor from Asus i bought a few weeks ago which costed me $2500 i just have this super big fear about it breaking i keep imaging throwing object at screen breaking. its weird i know, but it kinda feels like you have a new born baby in your arms and imaging him/her falling, lol what is wrong with me 
 
 

wow really dont think i need 500GB im only going to play console exclusive games only, and most games are less then 50-40GB so i think the 256GB can handle it

yes it can i've seen youtube videos that shows that it can

thats not actually a bad monitor it has FreeSync, 1ms, 75hz. and i dont think you should go with IPS unless your going all in with the best of the best
 
so keep your monitor i hope one day you'll get a much better monitor then mine

You see that other USB port beside the 2 USB 3.0 ports? That's the USB 3.0 upstream port. This port is for connection with a USB upstream cable. The connection enables the USB ports on the monitor.
 
You need to plug it in to your PC For it to throughput to your PC.

ya the 980ti is just temporary till the 1180ti/titan XT arrives in the market then i might either sell the 980ti or just give it to a friend
