  1. You can just grab an X server from the playstore, and then connect to it with export DISPLAY=:0 works fine. Steam won't run, it's x86/x64 only.

    Warped motherboard?

It was an old PC though, so it could be the paper based PCB ones.
  3. I honestly still don't think it's power related tbh. If prime95 runs fine, but changing a song(which requires almost 0 cpu or gpu) get's it to flicker, then I think it's something else. Have you tried reseating the CPU? Making sure there is no thermal paste on the contact pins?

    Warped motherboard?

Defenitly not true, unless his cpu reached a 1000C or something.(very unlikely)

    wont go to 144hz

    What monitor?
  6. It *might* be insuficent power delivery. But I don't think it is. If it was, then your CPU would have just crashed instead of your laptop dimming brightness. Are you sure you don't have a setting somewhere that might cause that? Or a lose power brick connector? It could also be a compatibility issue with whatever driver your backlight. Edit: Does it also flicker when you only stress the CPU and GPU separately?

    Ryzen 3000 16 cores @ 5.1Ghz

Can I ask where you found this information? A 16 core Ryzen CPU would be absolute awesome.

    Color testing software

They use a device for that, which comes with the software. You can't just download it and have it work.

What Windows version do you use?
  10. Obviously. When did I imply that it did? Ok I agree. It doesn't. You can install an x server on it though. But you can do that on Windows and Android as well. True You have to think of Linux like the Windows NT kernel. The idea is the same on all distributions/versions. But it won't run on all of them. I know. That is not true, you don't need an xserver to draw pixels to the display, not to mention there are is also wayland. Actually, dpkg exists as an installable package for other distro's as well, like fedora. Thus allowing .deb's to be installed on non debian distro's. True, but if you modified the Linux kernel, is it still a Linux OS? That's what Android did. It removed core Linux components and replaced it with it's own stuff.
  11. A Linux compatibility package doesn't mean it natively runs Linux applications, Linux can run Windows applications with Wine, does that mean Linux is Windows? NO. Does that mean you can throw any .exe file at Wine and it'l run fine? NO Does that mean it's natively supported? NO! Sorry for the capitals.

Chances you have an old driver. this one should support RTX, try that: https://www.geforce.com/drivers/results/140565

And you are SURE you plugged your monitor into your GPU?(Not your MB) If so, then it could be that you are downloading old drivers, go to the NVIDIA webpage and download the drivers from there, make sure the driver version starts with 4, I believe those are meant to support RTX cards.
  14. That means it USES Linux, the Android software set can also work on non-Linux systems like freeBSD. But you ARE correct that it uses Linux as it's kernel, that doesn't mean you can run Linux any application on it though. (Lot's of missing dependencies, no x11 server)
