  1. nice, I really like the tuf products, I also built a tuf themed pc
  2. A couple more photos for your viewing pleasure
  3. And finally take some decent photos my favorite part. Please enjoy, warning the following images may cause extreme excitement please view at your own risk
  4. Next after everything was assembled was planning the loop. I wanted something different than all the other 805 builds I've seen so I took a different approach
  5. I received some Teamgroup goodies as well. After a quick photoshoot it was time to assemble the motherboard for its new home
  6. Sorry for the lack of updates, things have been crazy. The build is complete but I will still like to finish the build log First up I received the new gpu and block. Everything went smooth with the installation
  7. Will share my latest build here as there may been many who didn't not see the build log. I will be finishing another project this week and will post that as well once completed
  8. Well ran into an issue. The block from bitspower isn't compatible with the g1 gaming 1060. On the product page it said it was compatible with the 1080, 1070, and 1060 but apparently gigabyte updated the pcb design with the 2nd revision of the card and Bitspower never updated the block design or product page. My contact at bitspower has been very helpful and is checking with his contacts at gigabyte to see if they can swap out my card for the older revision or sponsor me with a new card. Either way I need a back up plan in case gigabyte can't help so I ordered a gtx 1070 founders edition for a steal of $300. So the build is being put on hold for a little bit, guess I have plenty of time to work on the cables and other small stuff.
  9. So I had issues with the candy red bleeding so I had to strip the case and was able to repaint it. Also started getting some of the components installed
  10. Lol thank you, I've seen a few that makes me jealous as well
  11. I was gonna wait till tomorrow but just couldnt wait lol I love the way it turned out
  12. Was able to get everything sanded down today and cleared. I was also able to get the red candy coat sprayed on the case. The red will be outlining black stripes but I really like the way this red turned out.
  13. Thank you, as for the builds I keep some, sell some, and others I strip and reuse parts
  14. So first the obligatory parts photo ? EDIT: The 1060 was later replaced with a 1070 FE I stripped the Chassis down and went to work with my sander until all the black finish was off and I had the desired look I wanted. I will also be doing several of the aluminum polaris fans in the same technique. I will leave the 3 on the front of the radiator alone as they won't be seen anyway Then a quick mock up But that just looked well too simple, I want it to be a little more unique. So I will. Make some brackets to mount the hexagonal reserviors facing out which will also eliminate any issue with the gpu fitment. That's all for today
  15. Hey Everyone, Time for a new project. I was going back and forth with a few different build ideas and finally landed on what I call the Raw build. I know the banner has a brushed finish but that isn't what I have in mind and the only backdrop I could find lol. My goal is to have a raw metal finish with some painted accents. I want the grinder marks and all because it looks sweet when the light hits it in different directions. So far Inwin and Bitspower have joined to support this project. As for the hardware I'm just using what I have on hand. I will try to keep everyone updated on the build progress. So as I was working on the build inspiration came to me. Rat Rods, I just love the crazy look of them and love when they have the bare metal finish which is exactly what I was going for in this build. So I present to you Project RatRod Hardware Case- InWin 805 (red) Motherboard- Aorus x470 Ultra Gaming Cpu- Ryzen 5 2600 Gpu- Nvidia GTX 1070 FE Ram- Teamgroup Delta R RGB 16gb @3000 mhz PSU- InWIn PL 750w RGB SSD- Teamgroup Delta R 250gb x2 Case fans- InWin Polaris RGB (Aluminum) Cooling- Custom Hardline cooling provided by Bitspower
