Windows 10 performance monitor says my cpu, gpu, etc is poor. I have an 8700k and gtx 1080ti. whats going on?

pretty sure its the RAM again. One will boot from all slots the other wont. However the last RAM died in the same slot (B2) so I am leaving the working dimm in that slot to see if it dies

I have it at 1.38 it was 1.35. It didnt work. Will try 1.40 Have updated bios to latest version

Thats what is confusing me. My cpu idles at 26c (its dellided). I was going to overclock but am a bit worried now. I wonder if a Bios update may help

I built a new system last week. When I installed the RAM 2x16GB one of the dims didn't work so I RMAd them and got a replacement set. I got the new set on Monday and everything has been fine. Today however I got a memory management error and the pc wouldn't boot. I was getting q code 55 and cc so I removed the ram and tried each dim on their own and wasn't getting any joy from either but after a few cmos resets I got one stick to boot and have tested it and its fine and the other stick will not on its own. It appears that any dim in slot 4 is being damaged some how. Does this sound like a board problem and should I try to RMA it or should I just put up with it, after all I wont ever use 32GB RAM so all I will really be missing is the dual channel bit? any thoughts? It says a2 and b2 i get cc error. No booting in any config with two but one will boot in any slot and one will not boot in any slot.

Just built new system. Asus maximus x hero Fractal s36 Fractal r6 1m.2 1ssd 1platter 32gb corsair rgb vengence cmr32gx4m2c3000 1 dimm boots all slots (only lights in 3 and 4 dont know if thats normal) Other no boot at all lights in slots 3&4 & boot loop in slot 2 Getting either cc or 55 (generally cc) with other dimm Do i need to rma?

i have just built a new system and will be installing windows 10. I have 3 drives 1 m.2, 1ssd and 1 platter. is it still the same procedure to only have the drive youu want to install on connected or can you just choose? ps all drives are new.

I will try to find iut. I hope i dont have to remove it. I have a bad hip so am in constant pain so lifting etc is difficult

As far as i can tell they are all blowing up through the rad but two of them will be up and righ as there are two arrows on the fan housing. I am assuming the other will be up and left So since the fan wouldnt fit at 90 deggre angle because of the other fans i am assuming its been mount 180 degrees

Yes its triple and at the top. If you look at the aio in the case the fans are mounted so all you see is white fans but two of them have the fractal name on the fan housing whilst on doesnt.

The fans are mounted on the rad so the fractal label is against the rad and the fractal imprint on the fans can be seen apart from one of them. So i think two of them will be push and right according to the arrows but not sure how the other fan will work as i cant tell

I have just built my new system but i am still waiting for my new cpu to come. I have a fractal s36 in my fractal r6 and have just realised one of the fans isnt orientated the same as the other two although it is facing the same as the other two if you know what i mean. Will i encounter any issues with cooling?

Static pressure fans are very important for radiators not sure if I am allowed to link videos on here that maybe from competitors to linus tech tips so I will just say Jayz2cents on youtube has a very informative video about it where he tests airflow fans and static pressure fans on a radiator. More static pressure is better. Linus has one too.

I always go asus or gigabyte, wouldn't go anywhere else. I had an MSi board years ago and it failed. It took 6 weeks for the RMA to go through. Not sure if they are like that now but I wouldn't use them again.

price doesn't really determin that a cooler will be good. The Noctua NH-D15 air cooler is pretty cheap and will perform as good and better in some cases as AIO and the Alphacool Eisbear AIO is cheaper uses better quality material than a corsair H115i. What you should be looking for is materials used. Most pumps & RADs on popular AIO brands these days are made by Asetek and usually use Aluminum whilst Swiftech, Alphacool and Ek Waterblocks make far superior AIOs and use copper. I am about to build my new system using an AIO for the first time and from the research I have done I will not use one with aluminum and want to have it made by one of the best manufacturers, I havent decided which I am going for yet but I am either going for the Alphacool Eisbaer LT360, the bequiet 360mm or Fractal s36 all use copper rads and blocks.
