Fans.  If you buy $150 in fans for a case, that case all in is $400+.

Like I said, listing what you have is nice.  980 Pro boot is a waste (but if you like Samsung, rock it), but again I think you're looking to show us what you're getting than any real desire to tweak or modify.

A build log would have sufficed.

9900K CPU came out almost 5 years ago, so if it was built then... paste should be reapplied.   My 9900K is going great, with the paste 3 years old but I will do it soon.

If it suits your needs and you're satisfied with it, it's a 10/10.

There's not much point in us rating your choices when the money has already been spent.

Well he can't afford the upgrade possibilities just yet, unless he comes up to almost 1500$.

The 5600 + 6700XT should last him years and then he can build AM6 or Intel later.  Upgrade paths are neat, but they're not the end all be all and it's becoming a term like bottlenecking or future proofing lately.

May have been good info to lead with 🙂

So yeah, it doesn't work well enough to use.  Think we figured that out now.  Going to consider this solved.

    Best of luck to ya!

Stay off these forums and interact with the type of person you like.

Unless you hit it off with someone here and then start dating?

Not sure how dating works in a world where people never leave their phones.

Basically get yourself in a healthy place, you'll end up running into someone and hit it off.  Don't go looking too hard, you'll convince yourself you found someone and you really didn't.  Never ignore red flags either.  You deserve good.

Look at Anthony/Emily's video for proof.

It was big enough that you created an account just to join in, so maybe it's a bigger deal than you're downplaying.

I am in no way waiting with baited breath for their response, but I am smart enough to see that it was a dick move to paywall it.

If in your world it's how things work, cool.  In mine, I prefer my apologies a little more sincere even when we know deep down they're full of shit.

When you think it's not a big deal, look at the revenue lost for the past week.  While it's not life changing, it IS more than you or I make.  So yeah, it's sizeable.

So many questions start with "I heard that...".

I'd love to know where so we can correct them, at the source.   WiFi6 is better, but Wifi 5 isn't bad in any way.  At some point, we're just upgrading to upgrade.  WiFi 5 at my house all day.

Realistically you won't notice a difference between the two, so if they're about the same price and you prefer the looks of the Red Devil, I'd just go Red Devil. The Sapphire might technically be the better card, but it's by so insignificant a margin that I wouldn't really care about it. If it was the reference vs. Saphhire Nitro+, it would be a different story, but with two pretty good AIB cards it doesn't matter enough to care about anything other than aesthetics and price.

Both are better experienced at 6/12 configuration and the Ivy Bridge platform is limited to 4/8. I recommend starting new in this case, or at least half new. This personal recommendation of mine for almost all-used system is still very relevant on eBay, just need to look about for bids.

490 bucks. The motherboard and CPU should be bought in a bundle listing, and some also include 16-32GB of RAM but right now DDR4 used and new market is on parity.

I had a zalman headphones with 3 drivers in each side.
IT DOES NOT WORK any better then 2 drivers and good software.
You can hardly hear the difference between front and rear driver since they 3 cm from each other away.

(I still have it somewhere its huge, but i connected all drivers together for an immense soundstage with lots of bass. But i already blew a soundcard driving 6 drivers form headphone jack hehehe)

And by good software i dont mean the nonsense thats ATMOS or whatever, but good binaurial/directional sound.

Humans only have 2 ears anyway.
Only reason you do that (multiple surround channels) with speakers is because they are further away.

So yeah nothing LTT did, just physics like @Dedayogsaid.
It was nonsense crap marketing hype, and im glad its over. Now for only that fake ATMOS to stop, as thats nonsense too.

Dedayog reacted to YoungBlade in AM5 PCIe bottleneck
Unless you're using most of your drives connected through the chipset at the same time, you likely won't run into bandwidth issues. Especially with SATA drives, as they max out at 600MB/s, which is not even close to the max ~7GB/s of the link through the chipset. And even if you are using many PCIe drives and devices simultaneously, unless you are transferring large files from drive to drive, the drive's controller is going to be a bottleneck before the PCIe connection to the CPU is.

So while in theory it could be a problem, in practice, for the vast majority of use cases, maxing out your PCIe and IO connections won't cause noticeable problems.
