  1. switched it for 2060 and fuck the rgb LULW
  2. I dont want to buy 20xx series as they are generally more expensive due to rtx. He is not planning on streaming so overall the 20xx series doesn't seem a good choice imo
  3. SSD is 50, but indeed the 1070 is 100e more expensive than 1660ti and looking at the benchmarks its either the same or 1660 ti performs better. So i would switch that
  4. Sadly, he doesn't want any components from second hand even though i proposed that to him already.
  5. Hello, i have built a computer for a friend for 1500e (which is his budget, p.s: the prices here are higher than other places). Here is the list, does it seem alright ? Or do you have any suggestions to swap something. Asus 1070 Strix R5 3600x B450 Tomahawk Max Hyperx Fury DDR4 3600 (cost only 10e more than 3200 of the same brand) Samsung 860 EVO Basic(250GB) Seagate Barracuda (1TB) Noctua NH-D15 EVGA G3 650W Case P400A (any other suggestions for case?)
  6. Alright thanks for the help guys. I assume the z390 and 9th gen can be bought on 1st october.
  7. So my 620W psu is enough then. I don't need to upgrade it.
  8. Alright, could you be more specific and describe the word "average user" ?
  9. Isnt 450W a bit too low ? Now i have 620W and i was told before to get more. + the manufacturers of the 2080 say that it's recommended to have at least 650w psu. Edit: and by getting more than 650W let's say i will get a 800W one just to play it safe. Or is it a bad idea?
  10. Alright, i will do as you say since it makes sense and probably its a bad idea to rush with such things. Do you at least have a psu in mind that would be sufficient ?
  11. No, that is the time i am still willing to wait. And it would be better to have it asap. And by deliding the processor i've seen ppl managed to cool the cpu down by around 15 degrees. edit: I know you are talking about the new generation of cpus. But i was still talking about the 8th gen.
  12. You misunderstood me. I wanna get it asap just that i don't want to wait for other stuff to be released unless it is really soon and that is till half of the November. And i've seen great results after cpus being delided. Don't care about the warranty.
  13. Planning to delid the cpu anyways. + i wanna get it till like half of november if its possible. If i choose the 8700k do you have any suggestions what mobo and psu i should go with ?
  14. I mean, I can afford any combination of 2080, cpu, mobo and psu. I just want to know what would go well together. And i am the type of person who has less than 120 fps then gets irritated since i am used to playing games such as ow on quite high fps along with 144hz monitor. So if it drops below some certain point i can see it and it sucks. And when playing new games its even worse i have to minimize the graphic settings and wont even push it over 90 fps. So that's why i want an upgrade. edit: + i would rather stick to intel if possible
