  1. hello so things are like this. i bought a new pc a month ago and its ryzen 2600x with 1070ti. i had an old 23.5 inch fullhd monitor which i still use and i wanted a second monitor, preferably one 2k with 144 hz, but i realized that gsync monitors are too expensive for the moment, and that my card would probably struggle with 144 hz on 2k. then i found this monitor for relatively cheap in my country - https://eu.aoc.com/en/products/q3279vwf/specs and i decided to go for it, since i would just use it on 2k and 75 hz, for some time, until i decided to go for a real monitor later down the road when i upgrade my gpu. also i need 2 monitors asap since one of my old ones broke and i would have this old 23.5 with this new aoc which i could get for 224E or 255$. and i would probably be really fine with it, since the size is great its 31.5 inch and those few extra hz wouldnt hurt. no gsync but whatever... today i saw an offer for black friday in my local store for agon AG322QCX which is 50% off and has the price of 332E or 378$. and that monitor is a gaming beast, curved 2k with 144 hz and sadly freesync (but again, whatever...) this is a temporary monitor, or if down the road amd gets better cards id keep the monitor and get amd card. so the question is, is it worth to dish out 108E or 123$ for agon? i think it might be... even though i dont have an amd card...
  2. well tbh, i was going to get reds, i also made a post about it: and then it turned out that there isnt a keyboard that fits my criteria, which is strange. am i asking for too much? for a keyboard with wrist rest mx reds and some macro keys. the one that was suggested to me - corsair k95 with 18 macro keys has all of that, and i was super hyped about that keyboard only to realize you cant buy it ANYWHERE. and i really mean anywhere- it has only one offer on amazon from us, and the shipping to eu costs like the whole keyboard. so this new k95 with 6 macro keys comes only with mx speeds. so its not that i want speeds per se, its more of i will settle for speeds if they feel more like reds, and not like laptop keys.
  3. hey, i've been reading about mx reds and speed, and i cant get the keyboard i want that has mx reds. the keyboard i can get has mx speed (AND I CANT TEST THEM where i live). so can anyone help me out a bit here? i hate laptops and low profile keyboards, and i know i like regular reds cause i've tried them. i read an article that says that allthough speeds aren't exactly like laptop keys they are more similar with the actuation point to laptops. so if anyone that used both mx reds and speeds has something to say about them id be much obliged. tnx
  4. after checking stores a bit, it seems i cant get this keyboard anywhere, and its no longer produced by corsair. and the new k95 with 6 macros doesnt come with mx reds... thats weird strategy from corsair
  5. lol these are all macro keys? how come i didnt see that keyboard on their site, and allthough i dont need that MANY macro keys, thats the combination of the things i want in the keyboard.
  6. hi, so im looking to buy a new keyboard, and i like the mx reds, havent tried the mx speed yet. i was looking at corsair mostly, since most of the better logitech keyboards have romer-g switches, which i dont like too much... (i dont like razer also...) also id like at least 5 macro keys, and a wrist rest. is it possible that corsair doesnt have a keyboard that has all those 3 things? any recommendations? thanks p.s i dont care for rgb, and price isnt an issue...
  7. lol i have a sub $20 case atm, and i was planning on installing like 6 more fans in it, cut the holes my self, the only problem i have is that psu i top mounted, and i dont like that, so i have to move it around to the front of the case where cd roms were, install custom mounts for it, and still not sure how it will turn out
  8. hey, im looking for an inexpensive case, which has space for lots of fans, which could be bought separately (as in the case doesnt need to come with fans already installed) and which is not expensive. i dont care for glass panels, leds, looks or anything. just a regular closed atx case, probably with good dust filters. i have almost no cables (cpu, mobo and 1 gpu cable) and no storages (i have an nvme), so i dont care for modularity or something extra for cd roms or hdds etc. case will be underneath the table, and all leds are already shut down, so i really dont care about appearance, i just want it to be properly cooled, and thats it. budget is around 50e / 60$ lets say... p.s if i dont find anything, ill just cut open my old case and install tons of fans in it and get some filters... tnx
  9. tnx ill try it out later today when i get back home. should i maybe go for 14 instead of 15? or should i just go for the advertised 15-15-15-35 without raising voltages?
  10. hey i bought ripjaws 3200 mhz CL 15-15-15-35 at 1.35v for ryzen 2600x when i loaded d.o.c.p in bios, i got this timings setup, and i dont understand what is CHA and CHB and why is it set on CL16 instead of 15. when i check with cpuz it shows 16-15-15-35 instead of 15-15-15-35 should i manually set CHA and CHB (do they represent channel a and channel b on the mobo?) to 15 and what exactly are these two values and why do they differ from the value shown on the right? tnx
  11. which one would be better, i dont mind having more cables if its "better" or more secure
  12. i dont think you understand what i mean. i did use the 8 + 6 but its on a single branch cable going to the psu. the other option would be to have 2 separate cables going to the psu (one 8 and one 6 pin)
  13. hey, i just installed my msi gtx 1070ti that has a 6 pin and an 8 pin slot for psu cable. i have a modular psu, and im not sure if i did it correctly. so do i have to insert 2 separate cables (one 6 pin, the other 8 pin) or can i install it with a branch cable that has only 8 pins going in the psu, and on the gpu side has 6+2 pins and branches in another 6+2)? thanks
