Hi RonanStuds thx for the reply, right now the m2 is the C: drive and the other is D: , i can access Bios and i can see the m2 there but it wont initialize win unsless the 4tb is connected, the second option you say is to format? Not sure i understand the first option, the m2 is my first priority drive.
  3. Hi forum! Im having trouble with my system, I have an M2 (500gb) drive with my windows 10 installed, and i have a spinning drive (4tb) with another win 10 on it, but if I un-plug the 4tb one the pc wont bot and will say "reboot and select proper boot device or insert boot media in selected boot device and press a key" The windows on the m2 was installed with the 4tb unit plugged in, is there a way to solve this issue without re formating the m2 and reinstalling win? I want to move that drive (4tb) to another pc for backup THX!!
  4. PLEASE HELP I just want to do daily incremental backups, currently i have a unraid setup running a win 10 VM, im not a command line user so please don't recommend that option :( I just want an incremental backup for my home office the most date i write could be from 1 to 10 Gb a day on the most extreme case, but the incremental backups have save me before from user error or clients requests. So far i have tried cobian backup on the vm machine but it cant read the file property correctly so it always make a full backup instead of incremental, I purchased AOMEI backuper profesional but it have a similar problem. I post this same problem on unraid forum with no answer :frowning: Pleaseeee helpppp meeee, seriously its bad for me.
  5. We have just a 8 port 1gb switch, so we are not looking into port agregation.
  6. Hi Guys, thx a lot for the feedback, i may have misspelled the cheap thing, i know its expensive, i was looking at this one https://www.amazon.com/NETGEAR-Ethernet-Lifetime-Protection-XS712Tv2/dp/B074V579V3 And for the network cards this ones https://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16833320272&cm_re=ASUS_XG-C100C-_-33-320-272-_-Product We are currently at 500mb/s Write and like 400 read, we work rendering archviz cg, so we have very large photoshop, 3dsmax files and a ton of big textures, we are using the 1gb network to the limit so we want to make the change soon without breaking the bank and our worflow for some technical dificulty, We saw that with this switch we can do 10gb on rj45 cooper connections, so no expensive fiber will be deployed.
  7. Hi guys, we need your help building cheap 10gb network, we are using a file server and nodes connected to a 1gb network and we are seeing a big bottleneck with just 2 users on the network. So we are looking for a cheap 8 port 10gb switch, it can be refubrished, only condition is no fiber, we want to use cat 5e or 6 We also need cheap 10gb network cards, i know Juraj mentioned some intel ones and the asus cards were a pain to work onIf you can also share with us some tips and tricks on this implementation would be greatly appreciated!!(our file server is working on a raid 10 with some sppining hdds, some day we will upgrade them to ssd, im very nervous about sudden failures of those type of discs)
