  1. Real helpful, thanks. /s Instead of just pointlessly criticizing my budget, why not point out what's wrong with the laptops I posted? They seem to fit my needs quite well, so I don't see what the issue is.
  2. USA, around $500 (less is better), something light, doesn't matter as long as it's not too big and 1080p, good battery
  3. Correct me if I'm wrong, but it seems to be quite a bit worse than the Ideapad for the same price. Especially with the display, which is only 768p.
  4. I want to buy a fairly cheap laptop and I've narrowed it down to two main choices: this Lenovo Ideapad 330S, and this Asus Vivobook F510UA. The heaviest thing it'll probably do is some programming (little to no gaming), so nothing too bad, but I'd like it to last me at least a couple years. So which one should I get. I've listed some of the pros of each over the other below, but I was hoping some of you could help me decide. Pros of the Ideapad: $100 USD cheaper Seems to have a better build quality (feel free to correct if wrong) Keyboard with num pad Pros of the Asus: Better CPU (i5 vs i3) 2 more GB RAM (8 vs 6) Fingerprint scanner So which one would be a better deal? Thanks for the help!
