Windows does not recognize my four m.2 SSD's
Frederik Druedal replied to Frederik Druedal's topic in Storage Devices
Thank you for the quick answer. Do you know if there is any other consumer cpu that has the lanes I need? -
Hi Everyone! I have been struggling with a problem for the past few days. I recently bought a Asus Hyper M.2 x16 add-in card, so that i was able to install four m.2 ssd's into it. I have now tried installing it, in all three pcie slots available. Here are my problems: If put in the top slot windows will only recognize three of my four drives in the add-in card, and not the last one. If i put it in the middle slot I only see one of the four M.2 SSD's, the one which i can't see when it is installed in the top slot. If I then put in the bottom-most slot, I can see two out of the four SSD's. Ideally i would love to be able to see all four with it plugged in the middle slot, but I've since seen in the manual that only the top slot is a pcie 16x slot, which i also read is neccesary for the add-in card. My current specs for the pc: Motherboard - Asus ROG Strix z370 E-gaming CPU - Intel Core i7 8700k Bootdrive - Samsung 970 evo 250GB Other M.2 storage drive - Samsung 960 evo 1TB The four new M.2 drives - 2x970 evo's 1TB and 2x 970 evo's 500GB GPU - Asus ROG Strix 1080TI. I hope that someone is able to help me and to get my new drives working perfectly. Thanks in advance.

Only one of my USB-ports works on my case
Frederik Druedal replied to Frederik Druedal's topic in Cases and Mods
Have been thinking the same thing, but i thought since it's one cable for the same ports that there might be some kind of lack of power that is distributed or something idk. But yes it is the same motherboard; Asus ROG Strix z370-E Gaming. -
HI Everyone. I just recently bought the Lian LI PC-O11 dynamic case, it seems as though only one of my USB-ports are receiving a signal when i plug something into it. I had this same issue with the Fractal Design Meshify C, that i recently shifted from, hoping it would fix this problem, but it hasn't seen to have helped. I'm hoping one of you guys are able to help me figure out possible troubleshooting meathods or fixes. Thanks in advance!

Merry Christmas everyone. I'm having some problems with my motherboards LED lights not turning on when I power on my PC. It has been working every time I turned it on until a few minutes ago. There is a little blink when I turn on the power switch on the back, but only for a split second. If anyone could help me out, then it would be awesome. Thanks in advance

Yeah the problem has gone away now

Hey everyone. I am having a bit of a problem my Asus Strix 1080Ti has the past week been randomly getting very loud, and I can't turn down for the fans, and I have no idea why this is happening. Thanks.
