Turns out one of my ram sticks was either going bad or already bad. Cycled through them all once again last night and found the bad one and removed it and it’s match. Memory is now half but at least the system is posting and working.

Bump. Pc still failing to post about 70% of the time with all ram installed. Should I be looking to replace the brand new board?

They run at 2133mhz by default. I tried that and then I tried the XMP profile which jumps up to 3000mhz. Did not seem to help.

All 4 memory modules were purchased at the exact same time. They should be identical. No they aren't a set of 4. It was two packs of 2x8gb modules from corsair.

Yes the issue only seems to arise when trying to use all 4 memory slots at once. I'm currently using the computer with only 2 sticks of ram to communicate but i'd like to install all 4 and not have issues POST'ing on a constant basis. Time is running low to return any of the new hardware so im trying to get any info i can

All of the memory is exactly the same. I bought 2 sets of the same thing 2x8gb. Total of 32gb across all 4. Example: Any combination of memory in A2 + B2 slots will boot. But all 4 causes a hangup. Thats when i see the solid yellow "DRAM" indicator on the board. I have no idea why, but after flicking the PSU power on and off for a while it sometimes works. (maybe 1 out of 10 times)

Put together my new computer today, and am running into a some issues booting with all 4 ram sticks populated. MB: MSI PRO Z690-A DDR4 (Latest Bios 1.70) NEW RAM: 2x Corsair Vengeance LPX 16GB (2x8GB) DDR4 DRAM 3000MHz (leftover from previous 6700k build) CPU: Intel 12600k NEW Cooler: MSI MAG240 water cooler PSU: EVGA 750 GQ, 80+ GOLD GPU: MSI Geforce RTX 2080 When attempting to boot with all 4 dims populated i get a solid yellow light on the "DRAM" error code light and no display. If i remove two, from any position i am sometimes able to boot after a few seconds. I have taken each ram stick and inserted them solo and booted to the bios. So all of them seem work individually. CPU removed and no bent pins found. Re-seated and clamped down. Weird Part: If i sit there and flick the PSU power switch on and off for a while. eventually i see it flip back and forth between the "CPU" and "DRAM" lights (memory training?) and sometimes, it boots to windows with all memory accounted for. Long story short, i seemingly cant shut my computer off and turn it back on without having to tear it apart and troubleshoot an unknown issue. I'm writing this message on it at the moment. Does this sound like a bad board, bad ram, or something else. It's not my first rodeo but i am stumped. Thanks

I upgraded to that when it happened. Debunking this is essentially the only thing worth talking about.

Recently bought a 970 evo-plus. It's my first foray into nvme drives so im a bit clueless. I ran some synthetic benchmarks and it runs basically slower across the board no matter what i do. Im wondering if this is a issue with the platform i'm running it on or if its an issue with the chip or something else entirely. Motherboard: Gigabyte Z170x Gaming 7 CPU: Intel 6700k 4.5Ghz RAM: 32GB Corsair 3000mhz GPU: MSI GTX 1060 6GB Here some screenshots. It caps out at 2.5gb/s. From other review sites ive seen i could reasonably expect 3.0gb/s or higher in ATTO. Any ideas what my issue reaching full speed is?

Looks to me like the majority of the thread is in disagreement with Linus, plus or minus a few fan-boys. I have to go on what I've seen him say himself. 1. There was a WAN show a while back that showed he had it installed. 2. On yet another different WAN show he has stated that the revenue strictly from AdSense is extremely minor at best, and doesn't really pay any salaries. In addition, using adblock across all web surfing could indeed lead to a safer internet browsing experience (albeit minor). I say thumbs up to adblock at this point, Linus is 800,000+ subscribers and whining about the 5% of viewers using adblock. If that isn't entitlement, than i don't know what is.

It was the LG tv of the same dimensions for about 60 bucks more. Definitely worth the extra cash to ensure no shenanigans.

I bought a SEIKI 32 inch TV around this time last year. THIS ONE TO BE EXACT. I had it out of the box for all of 3 hours before i was on my way back to Best Buy. It was just terrible in just about every aspect. It also had a somewhat traumatizing effect on me. Ever since then I have been "overly cautious" about buying Electronics that seem TOO GOOD TO BE TRUE price wise, because they usually are! I ended up with this one instead that i had to pay a bit more for, and i am very satisfied.

This may sound dumb, but what API does the PlayStation ecosystem run on? Is it not also directx?
