Luca Rallis got a reaction from Lurick in TechLinked Suggestion: Make TechLinked Available In Amazon Alexa's Flash Briefing
Hey there! So I have a suggestion for the TechLinked team. Every morning when I wake up I ask my Amazon Alexa to play me my Flash Briefing. It gives me a news update from a few publications I have selected such as CNN and CNET. I would love to be able to listen to the latest TechLinked episode in my Flash Briefing. Basically, you would just have to upload the audio from the episode each time a new one is published. Let me know what you guys think. And does anyone else actually use the Flash Briefing feature?

Luca Rallis reacted to bellabichon in One time donations a thing?
I don't believe there is a donate link at the current moment. If you want to show your appreciation for LMG, i'd recommend buying a piece of merch from https://www.lttstore.com/. You get to support LMG, and you get a cool shirt.

Luca Rallis reacted to dalekphalm in Drones Shut Down London Airport in What Authorities Call Deliberate Disruption
Agreed - regulations still have a place. For example, preventing a dumbass novice drone user (who has never flown a drone) from crashing into his neighbours window.
People need to understand that regulations have multiple purposes. A regulation might be ineffective at one thing (eg: stopping terrorists), yet still be effective (and therefore needed) for preventing something else.

Luca Rallis got a reaction from captain_to_fire in Reverse-Chronological Twitter Feed Returns As An Option
Definitely a welcome change from Twitter. I can stand this trend of social media platforms moving away from the reverse-chronological timeline. The only platform where I find it acceptable is Facebook.
All we need now is the ability to edit tweets.

I bought the steam link for the hdmi, ethenet, and power brick. Don't care about the steam link itself

Luca Rallis got a reaction from LogicalDrm in New LTT Branding
I like the banner, but the logo is way to busy. I prefer the old branding over this. This simply isn't the kind of work I'd expect from a professional graphic designer. Just my opinion though, it couls be what the LTT guys were going for.

Luca Rallis reacted to DrMacintosh in Caselabs is shutting down.
Damn, those Tariffs really did a number on them. Who would have thought simply slapping a tariff on something without any economical analysis before hand could do so much damage? A lot of US steel companies are hurting from them too.

Luca Rallis got a reaction from gabo.garcia in MSI Trident 3 8th Gen i7 gtx 1070 swap for 1080? is it possible
It should work as long as it fits and your PSU has an available 8-pin connector.

What's your budget? I highly doubt you'll be able to get anything that powerful for a low price.

Luca Rallis reacted to TheKDub in Building Your Own Ram
Save the time and effort, just get it with the "heat spreader" pre-attached.

Luca Rallis got a reaction from TheKDub in Building Your Own Ram
You know that you don't need heat spreaders right?

Luca Rallis reacted to Sniperfox47 in Snap Gaming Platform Coming This Fall
Damn. From the title I thought this was going to be about large developers bringing their games to Snaps in Ubuntu and was like "Shit yeah! Flatpack is better but at least it's on Linux!".
OP, you Sir or Madam have crushed my dreams v.v

Luca Rallis reacted to emosun in Paint Question for Rear IO Cover
you don't paint heat sinks , they're heat sinks. they can't disapate heat with paint on them , well they can but they do a crappy job of it.
as for the I/O you can scuff it with a brillo pad if you want but it's so flexible and the port get beat on so much that the paint will eventually chip off anyway so i'd just prime/paint it as is.

Luca Rallis reacted to Crunchy Dragon in Anyone know space shooter for android...?
You're not likely to get any of those, even outside of Android.
So many mobile games through ads and DLC in your face, it's sickening.

Luca Rallis reacted to stellarshy in Steam Summer Sale Has Started
New rule for myself, I must play at least 1 game substationally for every 3 I buy.
Not counting humble bundle obviously that's just ridiculous. =)

Luca Rallis reacted to Lathlaer in Nvidia very strict NDA leaked
Where does it say that?
It looks to me like a in-blanco NDA stating that whenever you get the information from NVIDIA you are not to disclose it until time specified by NVIDIA.

Luca Rallis reacted to Zodiark1593 in Intel Hires Former Larrabee Architect
Remind me again how game streaming will work when my only internet (similar for lots of rural people) is via tethered cellular at 6 GB per month? Better be some bloody amazing video compression.
Downloading the game merely requires me to bring a hard drive to another person's house to download it there and bring it back. Doesn't work to well for game streaming.

Luca Rallis reacted to DarkEnergy in Why oh why would you benchmark like that!?
Case closed, let's wrap it up boys.
While many benchmarks are chosen based on popularity, they're also chosen based on which part of the system it taxes to provide a good comparison. Also consistency.
