  1. It was alright at core clock 150MHz and memory clock 150MHz before. Then I had to quit because I had to go, so I decided to continue today and ran into this, you think this is the problem?
  2. I use 3D mark, stress test 'Time Spy'. (just edited it in the OG post)
  3. I use 3D mark, stress test 'Time Spy'. (going to edit that in the post)
  4. Hi, thanks for the reply! I didn't touch the voltage. I only moved the Core clock, memory clock and power limit, and fan speed curve.
  5. Hi everyone, thanks for reading! I'm currently trying to overclock my 'Asus GTX 970 Turbo OC,' and something weird occurred (I'm a total noob into this, so please don't laugh at me if this is something easy). I overclocked my 'core clock' with +190MHz. It was stable, then I tried +200MHz, and it crashed, so I thought no problem and did a stress test with +190MHz again to come to the surprise it also crashed. I'm currently sitting at +150MHz and still not stable anymore, what happened? I did restart my computer after that the 190MHz crashed. My 'memory clock' was already overclocked to +150MHz, Powerlimit 110% (max I can go). I use 3D mark, stress test 'Time Spy'. Full PC specs: CASE: Antec VSK4000E PSU: Corsair RM650x MOBO: GigaByte GA-H170-HD3 GPU: Asus GTX 970 Turbo OC CPU: Intel Core i7-6700 CPU COOLER: Stock RAM: 2x8GB DDR4 2133 MHz SSD 1: Samsung M.2 SSD 960 EVO 250GB (OS) SSD 2: Samsung SSD 850 EVO 500GB (GAMES) SSD 3: Intel SSD 530 Series 240GB (DROPBOX) HDD: Western Digital Green 2TB 5.400rpm OS: Windows 10 64-bit Dutch
  6. The things I do on my pc are mostly working in text documents, 3D drawing and gaming. The boot order I need to change to the 970 EVO after the cloning right?
  7. Alright, thanks! Hopefully, everything goes like planned tomorrow!
  8. 1. I bought an M.2 Samsung 970 EVO 250GB. If I think correct, I need to install everything, boot the pc, clone it to the M.2 and restart and that's all I need to do? Damn, didn't know it was waste to go for an M.2 well, it was only 70 euro (around 80 dollar) for a Samsung 970 EVO 250GB so it wasn't too expensive.
  9. Hi, so let I sketch the situation right now: I currently have an outdated pc (MOBO: Gigabyte G1. Sniper B6, CPU: Intel I5-4570, RAM: 2x8GB DDR3) and my brother with a more 'recent' pc wants to upgrade (MOBO: GigaByte GA-H170-HD3, CPU: Intel 7-6700, RAM: 2x8GB DDR4 2033 MHz) to an MSI B450 Tomahawk, Ryzen 7 2600X and HyperX 2x8gb DDR4 ram 3333Mhz, so I decided to put his parts (the old Intel stuff), that will give me a little boost (don't need much more right now because not a lot of time for gaming) in my pc. But I have some questions: For myself, I bought an M.2 drive so I need to switch my main SSD in my build right now to clone it to the M.2 drive, any idea how or with what software? For myself, I will have a total of 3 SSD's (1 M.2 and 2 regulars, the one in my pc right now and a newer one from my old laptop that died recently) and 1 HDD, what is the best way to connect them? Do I need to buy an extra cable or something because I need a total of 3 SATA ports? What about Windows? Will it not freak out about the hardware changes for both of us? How should I handle this? Will there be any conflicts with any software on the installed drives if I switch hardware like programs (example games or Word as an example) or data, not a reaction or not found anymore? It is my first time I will actually work on a pc myself, any tips someone can give me for this project? Anything is welcome!
  10. So I am looking to make my first build ever, but I have some questions: I am going for cpu AMD Ryzen 7 2700X and I want it liquid cooled what i never owned before so i got some questions: Will I see a noticable difference between a 280mm or 360mm liquid cooling kit? Also I see a 'huge' price difference between NZXT and Be Quiet!, pure because NZXT has lightning? Or is there is performance, build quality difference? Because i never had liquid cooling, the Be Quiet! you can refill, is that really a need? Can the water just be gone even there is no leak? My options in my opinion right now: NZXT Kraken 62 will cost me : +- 160 euro NZXT Kraken 72 will cost me: +- 200 euro Be Quiet! Silent Loop 280mm will cost me: +- 150 euro Be Quiet! Silent Loop 360mm will cost me: +- 170 euro (I will put it in a NZXT h440 or a Be Quiet! Dark Base 700 not sure yet so I have the space for the 360mm but i want to know if its worth it the extra money)
