  1. Yes, except I used to get ~ 70 - 80 MB/s earlier. And Windows explorer caps at ~10 MB/s. (30 MB/s is when I tried TeraCopy - something I don't wish to use)
  2. I've got a Western Digital 1.5 TB USB 3.0 External HDD (WDBU6Y0015BBK-WESN) and I'd no problems with performance whatsoever until last week, when read speeds started to slow down for files that were copied dropping to about 8-9 MB/s (~ USB 2.0 speed), but copying folders gives me ~ 100 MB/s (the usual speed). I tried running crystal disk mark benchmark and I got normal speeds I used to get earlier for both sequential and 4k random speed tests. I tried installing TeraCopy, to check the speeds where I get capped at ~ 30 MB/s no matter I transfer a file/folder to or from the eHDD. I tried all the trivial stuff i.e., defragmentation, error checking, it was actually listed as USB 3.0 in Windows (at multiple places). Maybe a quick format MIGHT help me, but I've got no place to copy all my data from the eHDD and don't want to loose it. If there is something that can be done, could you please help me with this issue? Thanks. P.S. - I can upload any images in case you need...
  3. In my country, RX570 is on average 5000-6000 indian rupees expensive than 1030.
  4. @BenjiI just checked the manual it doesn't say PCIe Rev 2
  5. I'm planning to play old AAA titles from 2005-2010
  6. I am in a dilemma, where I can choose either of the GPUs I mentioned in the title. I have a core2duo E7500 CPU with Intel DG41RQ with 3 GB 667MHz memory, it has PCIe 1.0 support. Both of the GPUs have same price on amazon.in, but I cannot decide which one should I choose. Another thing which might be worth considering is the 1030 does not have a VGA output, which my 1366*768 monitor is unfortunately equipped with, but I do have a HDMI to VGA converter lying around. Can someone help me choose the right GPU??
  7. Earlier there was 710 in potion but later it wan't available and forgot to remove from the title??
  8. Totally agree with you. Thanx so much bro... (from India)
  9. Thanx so much but will 1gb memory do the work?
  10. Hello guys I am in kinda of dilemma right now. I have Core2duo E7500 @2.93GHz running off a 400W power supply without any GPU. But today I have got a chance to get one!!. I have to choose from either GT 630 (DDR3 2gb 96 CUDA) and GTX 650 Ti (GDDR5 1gb 768 CUDA). Also note my motherboard had PCIe x16 v1.0 slot. I'm worried about 2 things- one is although 650Ti has greater power it is only 1gb and secondly will my 400W PSU be competent for it to run. If these two issues get solved I'll go with 650Ti. So considering my PSU, CPU and PCIe v1.0 slot which GPU do you think will give more FPS in most of the games? The choice is as once made cannot be reverted. Pls help me ASAP. I have only today and tomorrow..... Thanks in advance... PS- Multiple advices are welcome....
  11. I have an old dongle for a old software which is to be inserted into LPT1, which my motherboard DG41RQ was not equipped with. Hence, I grabbed the port of my old computer (see image) which comfortably fitted in my old computer, for new computer though it has a problem that the socket type on the motherboard is different (see attached image). The motherboard-end of the port lacks a pin head on the extreme end but the configuration of Parallel port on new motherboard lacks a pin head on second-last position. So is there anything (apart from anything which costs bucks) I can do? If images do not appear clear tell me I'll mail them to you. PS- But all are parallel ports only so, why is the configuration in the new motherboard different? I couldn't find an answer even on Wikipedia. Thanx.
