  1. Hi, I have a ref Radeon 6800 model, an Asrock one, not AMD. The thing is that recently is hot down here and I've noticed that my GPU FANs doesn't hit the 100%. The max I've seen it goes it's 88%, around 2930 rpm. Maybe this GPU model doesn't have more RPMs in it? I can't find the specs of this model fans Or maybe It's a bug in the software? I need the fans to go to the max with my current ITX case and current ambient temps. I'm hitting 80° in my rig and I normally deal with 74° max with my typical VGA fans curve. Thanks in advance! Any kind of help or guidance would be helpful
  2. Hi people. I've just bought a Be Quiet Dark Pro 4 to use with my current Lian Li tu 150x. My rig: . 3900x . Asrock B550 PG itx . Corsair LPX . Radeon 6800 Reference Model So I have some doubts that I need advice: Should I install the cooler outside the case? I think that might be easier to connect the fans that way and I've heard that is not exactly as user friendly as Noctua securefirm is, but I might be wrong. Is it possible to plug the Front Panel USB cables with the front fan installed? or I might be running into some space issues? (I've already had issues when I had a Noctua d15 with the USB3 and the USBc ones, this BeQuiet kind of looks like maybe evvn more trouble). Does the Cooler loose too much of its perfoamnce If I'm not capable of installing the front fan? NOTE: I can't buy USB angle adaptors, I live in Argentina and it tooks too much time and end being extremely expensive, specially when all of them look to have a poor quality. I've seen that it gets really close to the back fan, I've already have there a slim Noctua one, should I keep it? is it necessary? or should I replace that one with a normal 25mm Noctua Nf-F12 (I know is more oriented for heatsinks)? I don't know if the differences in speed and airflow from the different models of fans involved might not end being counterproductive. Well that's all, thanks in advance! and pardon my english since it ain't my first language. BTW any extra advice would be more than welcome too!
  3. Hi man, same Lili case and seeing if a pull trigger with the Arctic 120 mm, how did it work out for you? thanks in advance

    Crysis 3 Issue

Hi man, actually nope, not really, might be some other issue. Even if I run it at lower resolutions the problem persists. In fact the CAP or whatever is not even remotely using my GPU at full potential. The following pic shows what happened when I lowered my reso to 1440P, same scenario as 4K, no matter settings.

    Crysis 3 Issue

Hi, I've recently bought a Radeon RX 6800. I didn't have much time to play but since yesterday I've started to install multiple games and testing them. I have an issue with Crysis 3 that apparently happened years before: a strange 63/64 frames cap (in fact it doesn't matter resolution I choose, it also has some occasional huge dips in frames, VSYNC is off and I even disable Freesync just in case. Does anyone know how to solve this? I really want to play this sucker since is the only Crysis I never fully played. I was hoping for a great experience even if I had a a capable 1080 ti before, but this stuff is becoming annoying. There is some solution to what it seems my problem that I found out there for NVIDIA, but none for AMD crads. If anyone have some useful info, thanks in advance!! PD: My Rig is in my signature, clearly is not a problem of capable hardware
  6. I want to manage the fan profile because since I had to sell my D15, my overall temps raised quite a bit and I feel more comfortable with a more agressive profile. Maybe I try just a little OC with my fan profile and save it in general? maybe that keeps everything tuned with every re start, yet I'll have to check how it's done since I never did it. Also it seems that there is some need of settings combination NEED between AFTERBUNER and ADRENALIN to make the MSI software to prevale, because I couldn't also make my AFTERBUNER profile to overcome the AMD soft. If anyone knows the settings to combine, I'll be more than happy. BTW thanks for your input man!, really!
  7. Yes I've made a fan profile but everytime I restart de PC I have to loaded again, quite annoying. Maybe the OC one loads automatically and the fan ones nope? I dunno
  8. Hi people, I've bought a Radeon 6800, long time since not having an AMD card. I like the Adrenalin Soft, but I can't keep my fan settings. Every time I start the computer again, I'm in automatic settings. Is there a way to keep my fan settings (well in fact any setting I modify) for every re start?. Thanks in advance!
  9. Thanks for the help and patience!
  10. Thanks man, but the language barrier still makes me struggle to fully understand the situation. Let me tell what are my doubts: . When you've mentioned "If you have three connectors avaiable", are you reffering to three connectors/slots in the PSU to plug PCIe cables? If it's the case, I don't have them, since I have the SF750 with only two slots to connect PCIe cables. . Or you are reffering to having: three 8 pin PCie cables, or at least two cables with double 8 pin connectors (6+2)? To resume: Founders cards have a single new connector that comes with an adapter in order to use a single double 8pin cable (not recommended) or better use two 8 pin cables, each one connected to one each side of the adapter. And other card vendors designs have three 8pin connectors in the card that ideally must be plugged to three PCIe slots in the PSU but it might be feasible to use just 2 cables: both connected to the only two PCIe slots that I have in my SF750 and one of those cables must be connected to TWO 8pin slots in the VGA and the other cable connected to the third VGA 8 pin slot. And this last solution being discussed here as not ideal? If that is the case.t sucks for ITX builds and down here in Argentina it's even more difficult to grab a Founders edition. But I might got it entirely wrong.
  11. Hi, english ain't my first language so I'm a bit confuse. I have a SF 750 and I mighjt upgrade to an 3080 in the future. From what you are saying, the new cards uses three pcie cables? I don't really get what is the AIB 3x8 pin stuff. I'm currently running a 1080 ti connected with the two PCIex cables that come with this PSu, that cable configuration won't be enough to certain 3080 or 3090 models? Thanks in advance!
  12. Some fellas in youtube tried it and worked, but I guess that the results might vary depending on the Mobo Brand and BIOS. I feel it's still too risky to buy a 3200 or 3400 APU in my case. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=f1wo9uWu6ro Do you know if there is some launch date for the new APUs to be available for regular consumers? is that actually a possibility or it might end being just for OEM?
  13. I've read of people throwing a 3400g with the original BIOS and the rig is working, but It's too much of a risk and I can bet that any new BIOS will ruin the combination. BTW it also needs a BIOS update for the new APU's?..I didn't know that. Yeap I know I need a VGA with those...I've pulled the trigger for this mobo since it was the same money as B450 with a litlle better VRM, PCIex 4.0 for the M2 and a Type C on the IO Panel, but it seems I'll fvck up my chances of a cheaper secondary rig, I don't want to buy another VGA. I've thought that even if I don't like the new APUs those would be avaiable for the general consumer. Now I'm thinking of trading it for an older B450 but that sucks too.
  14. APUs and "Cheap" Alternatives for an Asrock B550m itx Hi, I've just bought an Asrock B550m itx with the intention of using it as a secondary PC. If I'm not mistaken, I can't install an ATHLON 3000, nor a 1600 AF, or the ones that I've reallly wanted like the APUs (2200/2400/3200 or 3400). I've heard some people had success with some APUs, but I don't feel like risking any sort of inestability due to not being compatible or simply not even booting. Anyone knows if AMD is going to release soon any APU for the general consumer? because from what I've seen they just released their new APUs only for OEM. And finally, if I won't be able to install any old or new APU out there, the only "cheap" alternative I have is a 3100/3500 or 3300? Athlon or such is a "no no" situation? Thanks in advance!!
  15. Yes I was planning to leave it that way with just the middle fan but I've managed to root the USB3 cable in a way that I made it fit. Nope it wasn't throttling, yet I want to have on paper the best config to be prepare to summer when it arrives down here, so with lots of effort I've managed to put both fans plus two slim Silverstone ones, one at the front and the other in the rear. The real issue now is the problem of power I've mentioned in the above post, I don't have any idea of what is happening.
