The 212 Black edition and the Gammax GT are the best performers, get whichever is cheaper or you just like more for aesthetics.

Mine hit 95c so no problem here.

Didarul Hossain Rafi reacted to SPCFHT in CPU cooler for R5 3600
your temperature is pretty normal
but if you really want to get a budget cooler hyper 212/pure rock 2 would be good choices.

Didarul Hossain Rafi reacted to SkilledRebuilds in CPU cooler for R5 3600
For THOSE variables, it's brilliantly doing better than I expected. (61-73*c loads is great on a stock cooler under load)
Idle temps are of no matter, its hotter than "older CPU's" on idle, but thats by design of operation within these CPU's, not a flaw.

Didarul Hossain Rafi reacted to Gaires in 144hz monitor , worth it ???
You should buy best monitor you can afford, as a good monitor will last you trough multiple PCs.
Cannot find any good reviews about it.
For around 200USD I like to recommend this one.

You can also check if these are available to you.

If the Viewsonic isn't available for you, see if this one is. It's worse than the viewsonic, but decent enough.

Anything is better than 60/75.
Everything being and feeling smoother is well worth it.
But some people claim they can’t notice the difference. So if you aren’t that attuned, it may not be worth it.

Yes, you should. It's not IF you should buy a 144hz monitor, it's which one. Just make sure it's a good quality one, with decent response times. Hardware Unboxed on Youtube has some videos that will help you decide.

Didarul Hossain Rafi reacted to Demonic Donut in Ryzen 5 3600 frequency
PBO is hotter than manual OC. I can run 4.2ghz all core at 1.25V and it's cooler than stock (pbo disabled) which runs at 4ghz all core at 1.35-1.4V
I believe OP is saying that PBO is hotter than their manual OC.
This is normal behavior for ryzen, it seems. I get the same thing at stock settings. You could try repasting and playing with fan curves, but this seems normal to me, especially at 34C ambient.
I recommend you run your manual OC. I have my wife's computer at the above mentioned OC. Mine is at 4.4 all core @ 1.35V. Which is right about on par, temperature wise, with stock settings under my normal use conditions (games) I do go down to 4.2 at 1.25V if I'm doing folding etc.

Didarul Hossain Rafi reacted to BigDamn in 3600 Overclocking
In my case, I was able to OC my 3700x to 4.4ghz all core giving it much higher performance compared to stock, especially in multi-threaded workloads (games aren't impacted much) and best of all, my temperatures were significantly lower with my overclock than they were with PBO. That said, don't even bother overclocking on stock cooling. It will decide the best speed to run at based on thermals, and will do so better than you can. Get a quality cooler and then you'll be able to do some OC'ing.

Didarul Hossain Rafi reacted to 5x5 in 3600 Overclocking
Yes but the cooler can't. The stealth is adequate for stock operation but not enough for any overclocking.
Furthermore, manual overclocking usually reduces performance on a 3600 as even the default all core boost is 4.1 and PBO values are 4.2-4.3. I'd strongly suggest getting a cooler such as the Arctic eSports 34 and enabling PBO

Didarul Hossain Rafi reacted to Haro in 3600 Overclocking
First of all
No point in actually overclocking ryzen because it doesn't even have a lot of headroom for that and it doesn't even benifit from it a whole lot. Just enable pbo and you should be fine.

Didarul Hossain Rafi got a reaction from Bartholomew in 3600 with Gigabyte a320 hd2
Already updated it 😂

You should be fine
As long as your mobo has a ryzen 3000 bios available, and you update it before changing cpu (easy one to forget once the package comes in through the mail )

Didarul Hossain Rafi reacted to Haro in 3600 with Gigabyte a320 hd2
I wouldn't expect it to throttle or overheat
But do monitor both voltages and vrm temps.

MSI also promised to update BIOS on their 400 series boards!
-
Didarul Hossain Rafi reacted to Mateyyy in MSI vs Asrock b450m motherboard
They're similar for overclocking. I'd look for a B450-A Pro Max instead personally.
Also, manual overclocking on Zen 2 really isn't the best way to go about getting the most out of these chips. You're generally better off just turning PBO on and letting it do its thing.

Didarul Hossain Rafi reacted to Nena Trinity in Ryzen 5 2600 vs Ryzen 3 3300x
MSI sure or they gonna get sued, ASUS is ASUS and they have ignored consumers many times before... :I (rest I dunno depends on capacity)

Didarul Hossain Rafi reacted to wall03 in Ryzen 5 2600 vs Ryzen 3 3300x
I got a Ryzen 3600 because it was cheaper then the 3300X in the US ($200 vs $164)

Didarul Hossain Rafi reacted to Nena Trinity in Ryzen 5 2600 vs Ryzen 3 3300x
ASRock B450 Pro4 + 3300X should do fine also you can upgrade to a 3700x later!
If you want a 4000 series chip later you kinda gotta buy a 500 series board... 😛

Didarul Hossain Rafi reacted to Haro in Ryzen 5 2600 vs Ryzen 3 3300x
3300x
Better single threaded
One ccx
And will most likely have better 1% lows
-
Didarul Hossain Rafi reacted to Haro in Ryzen 5 2600 vs Ryzen 3 3300x
3300x is still a better option.
-
Didarul Hossain Rafi reacted to Fasauceome in Ryzen 5 2600 vs Ryzen 3 3300x
the majority of games will perform notably better on the 3300X, due to much improved single threaded performance.
-
Didarul Hossain Rafi reacted to -rascal- in Asus tuf vs msi gaming max
Both 4-phase VRM for the CPU, but the MSi board uses higher end VRM chips.
Both are plenty for a 3300X nonetheless.

They are
But I assume that where OP lives
Prices are a little different.
