Biography
I'm a uni students studying IT Networking. Due to Uni and work I dont get to play games as much as I'd like and thus 55+ steam games have gone unfinished.
Aside from PC's and gaming I'm aiming to get a nicer car, and by nicer I mean older. Currently have my little 626 which serves me really well and is taken care of every chance I get. -

LG PF1000U Ultra Short Throw Projector Giveaway

Finally we can start looking at having a great cinema experience without having a massive room. This would be great even in a larger room as we wouldn't have to mount from the roof or the rear of the room!! -
Rig Name: Draconis CPU: I5 4670K (stock) RAM: 16G Corsair Vengeance 1600MHz GPU: 2G MSI Gtx 760 sli (doesn't seem to support sli) Interesting to see that a 960 is capable (9% increase over 760) but a 760 is no where near capable. If SLI was supported could improve the performance by quite a bit.

I honestly quite like it. Depending on your desk size I can see it being good for businesses where you want to be able to display your company name and a sting of other information because its so big. But even as just a consumer It would be nice to 'jazz' up your gaming area with a nice desk covering that also protects the surface (I have a glass top so its prone to scratches), given that its so big you could do that, and so many people have already said that it would be useful for card/board games. I would honestly consider getting one myself given I could nail down a design that I'd like to have on it....or maybe a few different mats...

As far as I can tell the UPS that you choose should be able to deliver your MAX power draw from the wall as a MINIMUM so in your case around 2000VA+ (approx 1000W). At full load it will only last a couple of minutes so you'd want to power down quick. So having a little more power delivery shouldn't hurt it. Also should look at reviews on different brands so that you know that it wont blow up when receiving a surge (happened to a friend). I've known people to have Eaton UPS's and not have a problem. I believe that UPS's can also condition the power from the wall making your system less prone to energy spikes? (think i saw that in latest scrapyard wars).

Work within your budget, if you can afford the 5820K and Mobo to suit then defs go with that but if you can't afford that then the 6700K ought to be enough to get what you need. Having a quick google about streaming requirements for 1080p 60fps it seems that you'll encounter a performance hit in game that could drop you below 60fps avg (if you decide to stream gameplay at the same time). Have a read here on the teamliquid forum.

I've got a Tesoro Lobera RGB for about $120 the new one is the Lobera spectrum RGB. I actually quite like the keyboard and I've had good comments about it from friends who have used it after trying Cherry MX Browns. Be aware that it uses Kailh which is a cheaper switch but it honestly doesn't feel that different from the 2013 Blackwiddow and I've had this keyboard for over a year and a half now. For its price its a decent keyboard. Another good one that might be worth looking at when it comes out is the Asus Claymore, its a full size keyboard with a removable ten keyless, RGB, and Cherry switches. Could be worth the wait.

Buying a Thermaltake Chaser Mk-1. Ended up with a Corsair 750D not long after buying the Thermaltake. Trying to sell it and just wont leave. It's like a plague on my tech shelf...

Exactly my feels right there. It's what I've aimed for in my current system (just cleaned her up yesterday) although I'm starting to look at some modding to make a PSU and HDD cover similar to an H440. You're also very right how its basically like car guys although a bit cheaper, I can't really afford to have a flashy car but at least I can have a cool looking computer that I can drive a flashy looking car in a simulator with. Those concept cases you posted were just amazing, if they ever come out I couldn't help myself but buy them. Made the same mistake but with a Thermaltake Chaser MK-1. Still have the case in the box and I did have a system in there but I didn't like the build quality, lack of a full size window and the lack of removable air filters. Been trying to sell it but I don't think I could even give it away.

I really like the Noctua LTT edition fans over their regular brown ones. Changing to a black fan with interchangeable accents was defs a smart move on their behalf.

Yeah, that's the problem most of the time with making things look good is that you just end up spending money for no performance gain

So you use it like a pokemon trainer who collects gym badges?

I would like to also apply this to peripherals as a lot of them have gone RGB now.

Ah yes good case, considered it because you could close the front to hide all the optical drives and such.

What's everyone's opinion on computer parts when it comes to flashy heat spreaders or RGB colouring seemingly on everything these days? Do you actually care how your system looks or do you just want a system that runs games for you? I subscribe to the if it looks good and performs well then get it (given you can afford it) but that's not the case for everyone, as cost can be a huge factor when building a system. I like to take pride in my system so that when I go to LAN's I get to show off and some of my friends have taken to doing the same.

What product would you like to see us review that we haven't yet?

What about the NZXT Hue+? It's not a game changing product but it looks pretty, has great features and deserves some spot in the limelight.
