  1. i fixed it guys you can mark this thread solved https://technicalustad.com/optimise-gaming-performance-registry-edit/ thank you
  2. When i Use H264 for both streaming and recording i get the same effect on the cpu. 100% usage. thank you.
  3. So I found a forum which no longer exists that allowed me to change a reg key in Windows 10 that fixed my GPU problems when gaming and streaming on the Same PC. Now I have recently Formatted my hard drive and reinstalled Win10 so this fix is gone. Was something about Windows 7 does not sync every frame and Windows 10 does. Pretty sure it was an NginX fix but worked with OBS as well. On my old PC which was an I7-4790K , 32GB, Asus Maxiumus Hero VII, Asus Strix GTX970, Corsair RM850i and WIN7, I could stream easily without any FPS issues. The New PC Starts lagging about 5 - 10 minutes into my stream. I notice my game FPS is fine but my OBS FPS dips to 13FPS which is what my viewers see. (was locked at 60FPS before). My new PC is I7-8700K, 32GB RAM, Asus Z370-H Strix Gaming Mobo, Hi100v2 Liquid cooler, RM850i Power Supply, and an Asus Strix GTX970. I also use 2 monitors First one is an Asus 144hz (VG248QE), second monitor is 60hz Samsung (P2770HD).The only difference is i used to Stream @ 720P (1280x720). Using H264 for the stream and Nvidia NVENC H264 for the recording. I stream @ 900P (1600x900) with 6000 bitrate and record @ 1080P(1920x1080) with 20000 bitrate. CPU Usage Preset = faster. Profile=High. Ive tried using new drivers, and old drivers with no change, Ive removed all Bloatware from WIN10, Ive disabled some of the WIN10 services that are not needed although i do remember when changing this reg key i changed it from a 3 to a 4 which would tell me its a service i disabled before but cannot remember what it was. Thank you for your time in advance.
