  1. My old rig used to run at 35 to 39 Celsius but it would never spike to 90 C or higher. In my current built it would spike to 90 C or more with only minimal load.
  2. Yes, I've updated it to 7A72v39 before resetting it again to test temperature difference and there wasn't any. Unfortunately I don't have intel stock fan.
  3. Tried load optimized defaults, no changes at all. and this is the inside of my PC and fan position. Should I perhaps change the CPU fan position?
  4. I'll probably try it again but I don't think it's gonna help out a lot. Also, If it helps here is my MSI Command center voltage settings - and Core Temp readings -
  5. I don't think it's from improper installation of cooler nor TIM since I've changed the cooler and cleaned off the thermal paste and reapplied the thermal paste and there wasn't any drastic changes. Also, the room temperatures seems to be around 28° Celsius.
  6. Hello, I recently built a new PC and I can't seem to figure why the temperatures are idling around at mid 40-degree Celsius while idle. I've seemed the follow everything instruction carefully, even redid the installation of CPU cooler and applying thermal paste thrice but it did not change much. I've used Arctic MX-4 for thermal paste and Deepcool - GAMMAXX 400 for my CPU cooler. I noticed when launching Google Chrome it would spike to 60 degree Celsius then stable back at mid 40 to 50. Side Note: I've used my Intel i7 7700 chip previously for 1 year on a different motherboard and swapped it to my new build. I've also updated the bios of MSI B250 PC MATE motherboard could that be an issue? This was the one I used https://i.imgur.com/1ER9o0r.png Could the volts be an issue? 7. I'm in need for custom PC side panel for Phanteks P350x to replace my Tempered Glass one (which shattered upon arrival). I'm looking for the material in Aluminium, metal or steel or whichever is the best choice for it. I would be buying 2 of those. If it's possible let me know So if you guys know any website which ships customs side panels internationally please let me know in the comment .
  8. @ATFink I checked 970 EVO M.2 and is it really faster than 960 EVO? I mean I can get 960 EVO 500GB one for that price. Oh btw, with both the motherboard I saw that in PCPartPicker it says "The motherboard M.2 slot #1 shares bandwidth with a SATA 6.0 Gb/s port. When the M.2 slot is populated, one SATA 6.0 Gb/s port is disabled." Also, can you tell me why I shouldn't use graphite thermal pad? what about thermal paste?

  10. @EnergyEclipse @OrionFOTL I'm planning on using this COMeap 24 Pin to 8 Pin ATX PSU adapter cable (AMAZON LINK) which supports my current Dell Optiplex 9020. Is it fine with my PC?
  11. Hello everyone! I'm planning on upgrading my Dell Optiplex 9020 Power Supply and adding new Graphic Card. Since I'm not expert on this topic I thought I would refer to this forum for help. My current Dell PSU is 290 Watts I'm planning on replacing it with EVGA 500 W1, 80+ WHITE 500W (AMAZON LINK) and I'm planning on replacing my Graphic Card with Gigabyte GeForce GTX 1060 Mini ITX OC 6GB GDDR5 Graphics Cards (GV-N1060IXOC-6GD) (AMAZON LINK) I was wondering If I can replace my current Power supply and Graphic card without any problems or issues.
