  1. Place it in an anti static bag, wrap it in protective material(foam, bubble wrap, w/e), and place it in a box. Fill the box with something like packing peanuts and seal it. Print off the RMA form and send it in they will send you a new or refurbished one in a new box with new accessories.
  2. Its nice when they are contained to Xbox but then they spread to places like CS:GO and a really good community turns toxic in an instant.
  3. How attractive was the bartender when you first came in, how attractive is she now?

    The heat

Here in Fort Benning it's about 98F daily and we sit downstairs on the gravel in our full Army Combat Uniform complete with Jacket and Pants for about 8 hours.
  5. Hey guys, so I'm trying to make a background banner type object which has 3 layers to it. I' making it the proper resolution it should be which is 320x100. When drawing the file in Illustrator the elements look fine, they are exactly how they should be and are really sharp however when I import the objects into Photoshop the edges become pixelated and blurry. How do I fix this? I added the files below if you'd like to use them to test.
  6. With a Asus ROG G751JY I can connect to WiFi that requires a sign in on the browser but when attempting to use the browser it doesn't function and u cannot navigate to any webpages. Windows 8 64 bit IE 11
  7. A lot of people get the two confused. Completion of Ranger School awards the Ranger Tab which makes you Ranger qualfied but you need to complete RASP to get a Ranger Scroll which makes you a real Ranger.
  8. I have Pre-RASP next which is a holdover company for the Ranger Assessment and Selection Program which is an 8 week program designed to determine if you should be granted entry into the 75th Ranger Regiment Special Operations Raid Light Infantry Unit. After that I would do various schools such as the extremely difficult Ranger School Leadership Course and Air Assault.
  9. That's awesome it's quite the experience! and thank you! I'm so happy to have that under my belt. Aha thank you! It's a pretty terrifying thing at first my very first jump I was actually 1 man and had to stand by in the door for a good 30 seconds watching the ground fly by! But I just jumped without a second thought!
  10. Hey guys so today marks the day that I have completed Airborne School. I have been here for 3 weeks learning how to properly exit an aircraft control a T11 parachute and make a proper landing to prevent injury. Today was my 5th jump from the plane with a full combat load (rucksack, modular airborne weapons case which just had a plank of wood in it that they call the M2x40) all the gear weighed approx. 130lbs. I had a pretty hard landing as my combat gear got stuck and didn't lower right away causing me to not pull on the proper set of risers at a high enough altitude. All in all it was fun and was just another step on my journey to become a Ranger! Next is Pre-RASP! That's pretty much it I don't know if you guys will find this interesting or not just felt like sharing as its a pretty proud day for me.
  11. If you need friends to talk to you can add me on Steam: PVT. Nova I had depression for quite a few years myself and I understand what you're going through. I'm not on too much lately but whenever I am feel free to shoot me a message!
  12. I'm not really entering this giveaway for myself but for my little brother. He has been using my PC ever since I left for Infantry training almost 5 months ago now. I plan to just give him the PC as he loves using it and had never had a gaming PC of his own. He used to always bug me to play it back when I was home, I usually didn't let him which was selfish on my part. My dad tried multiple times to make a PC of his very own but all we had were really old computer parts and the PCs he made couldn't run Minecraft if they tried. He tried many times just to get a job so he could build his own but he was turned down each time. I tried to save money myself to build him a PC but I always had something come up that caused me to not have the money. Now that I'm here in the Army I have no use for my computer anymore so I want to give it to him to keep and enjoy. It currently has a GTX 660 which is still a good card but is slowly reaching the end of its life cycle and I would love to give him an upgrade that would allow him to continue to play new games as they come out. He's patiently waiting for me to finish my training so we can play games together again and when I am finally done and settle down in my unit I will just build my own PC at that time. I would love to win this giveaway for my brother . I am so sorry to hear about your cancer scare, my mom currently battles cancer and there has not been good news. She wasn't able to attend my OSUT graduation because of it and I haven't seen her for months. I really appreciate you doing this its wonderful that you want to give back to the community. In the time I've been a member of the LTT forums I have talked to many incredible people. This is truly an amazing and thriving community.
  13. that's just how things are with anything. No matter how great you are or what things you accomplish the tiniest mistake will over shadow all of them and that is what you will be known for.
  14. So this morning after I woke up it was 14mbps which is much higher but now that we have been released for the day its 1.5mbps so I'm going to say its stress on the cell tower and everyone using the LTE. Soon we will have WiFi though I guess I just won't play CS:GO with my dad for a few days. Thank you for the help!
  15. Okay so after a reboot I still have less than 1 Mbps down and up. Switching to 3G increases this to 1.5 which is more but still not a very good internet speed.
  16. Hey guys, So right now I'm in the barracks and there is no Wi-Fi. My only solution is to use my phone as a Mobile HotSpot which uses quite a bit of data. Which normally would not be a good thing considering I have 3GB of Data per month. However, it turns out I had 10GB of Data saved up from rollover so I have been using the data without a problem. After about 2GB of the Data Stash however I noticed extreme slowdowns, I cannot play CS:GO online at all and loading webpages is noticeably slower but not hair tearingly so. I checked the speed and it is less than 1mbps up and down. This is rediculous seeing as T-Mobile said that the Data Stash is the SAME speed as your regular data it's just saved up over time so I have no idea why it's throttled. It's not just the Hotspot also, my phone struggles to stream HD video anymore as well. Any solutions? Could this be client side or is this a provider problem. I get amazing coverage here by the way.
  17. Yes I did just needed a driver update sorry I had not responded busy switching to Airborne.
  18. Hey guys, so I just got a new laptop, it's a Lenovo Y50 with a GTX 860M GPU and I am currently on a 4 day pass between OSUT and Airborne so I am in an RV and am not plugged into AC Power. I want to be able to play games at 60FPS but it's limited to 30 due to battery boost. If I try to uncheck it it states "GeForce Experience has encountered an error" and the setting does not change. It's quite annoying as it makes games like The Binding of Isaac run at half speed. Thoughts solutions?
  19. Hey guys, this is the first time for me posting for awhile due to me being a Basic Training I am still there right now actually. Anyways when I am done here and go to Airborne training I want to have a laptop I can use to play games with my little brother. They wouldn't be super graphically intense it'd be like CS:GO ESO and maybe even Borderlands: TPS so i could use some suggestions I've been pretty out of the loop for awhile and didn't know too much about laptops to begin with. Anyway any help would be appreciated!
