  1. It's Dell U2718Q connected through DP. Night light works, but the brightness works only on the laptop display.
  2. Thanks guys for the reply. I'm already using it, but it's still not dark enough in my situation... therefore I'm looking for a way to actually turn down the backlight Dell has a display manager which lets you quickly adjust the brightness and contrast with a slider on Windows, but I was just wondering if there was a more polished solution. I also use a Spyder calibrator with room light adjustment. It's just a display profile though and doesn't actually turn down the backlight, so it doesn't seem to help a lot in my situation. Unfortunately, it doesn't seem to work (the brightness) on desktop monitors; at least not on mine...
  3. I often work quite late into the night. In my best effort to keep my biorhythm, I usually turn off the other lights in my room and only keep the display and the desk lamp, which is turned down to minimum brightness. The problem is that my monitor still feels too bright at times, and I wish I could turn it down just a little more. I know I could just do it manually, but I wish there was a way to automate this. Are there any manufacturers that make monitors that have a brightness sensor, or work with Windows adaptive brightness feature?
  4. Hah, you've gotta try harder than that to damage the Model M

  9. Taking a look at the settings and such. I'm more of a laptop guy, so not much to put on the signature though. ?
  10. I made an account a while ago, already, but I never really did a lot in this forum Thought I'd try putting more things here, and thought I'd start by saying hello to the guys here. I'm living in South Korea. If you have anything you want to know, feel free to ask.
