Who would win, $130 clearly basshead-targetted studio monitor headphones or $250 super-balanced in-ear monitors?

 

Still need to get round to doing round 2 of my Audio-Technica ATH-M50x review so I can evaluate these headphones post getting my FiiO FH5 in-ears.

    I find there's largely not a "winner" in audio since everyone likes different sounds.

    I'd probably go for the AT's. I like bass.

    Eh, I've used Q701s, M50s, a bunch of other more expensive headphones. Still prefer the sound from the ATs, or even my RHAs.

    Being "into audio" doesn't immediately mean you have to like a reference sound signature.

    Audiophiles are the most elitest fucks I've ever met.
