It just occurred to me that I hadn't used any piece of audio gear that was on a lesser tier than my FiiO FH5s, so I decided to check out my TIN HiFi T2 IEMs just to bring me back to reality.

These T2s still rock as a highs-biased pair of IEMs, I get so jaded when I remember that I'm daily driving a $250 pair of IEMs.

I picked one up not long ago since they were on Drop for about $25, I think. The build quality is really nice and it looks great but the sound is kinda meh.

They are easily the best pair of earphones I've ever owned but they are very flat and less fun than my headphones.

I don't know if it's because I prefer highs and are highs-sensitive but I find the T2s to be highs-heavy with little to no lows. Its lows and mids are flatter than the FiiO FH5, but the highs the T2s create (especially when it's female vocals) tend to sound more forward and brighter than the FH5 which I find to be more analytical.

I'm not sure what I prefer when it comes to sound, never really thought about it too much but very high highs are definitely not for me.

Also, I'm not sure that I'd personally enjoy analytical earphones/headphones because I like being lost in music and just rocking out and I would assume that more analytical ones would get tiring after a while.
