It's neat to see so many people get into the mechanical keyboard hobby/community recently, I still remember when I was looking for a new keyboard and didn't like any options in the current market and decided to throw my hands up and build my own.
I went from being zero brain mechanical keyboard hobbyist to straight up being mentioned and asked for recommendations on switches even though I've only used a handful of tactile and linear switches and have only used my own custom keyboard for just over a month now.
On another note, I am definitely thinking of building another just so I don't have jars full of unused spare switches. While Tokyo Sakura is a beautiful partner, I feel like I can build something even more personal and bespoke to myself, something like a carbon fiber plate, aluminium chassis, SA keycaps, and of course, my beloved Kailh Box Jade switches.

You and @Den-Fi are the people i would contact if i needed to build a mechanical keyboard for sure.
My current Logitech G810 Orion is still alive thought, even thought it survived soup and tea.
But if it dies in the next 10 years i would definitely build a 60% keyboard.

Yeah, I've been diving into a bunch of videos on custom keyboards and, it's insane how many things you can do to improve the sound and feel of your keyboard.
It's a very attractive hobby but, it can also get super expensive as well. Especially when you get into the more serious stuff like custom PCB and stabilizers and all that.
Can't wait for all the parts to arrive and give mine a shot!

@LukeSavenije That's great. At the moment I'm happy with my G710+ with MX Brown switches but I'll definitely consider something like that in the future, thanks!
