It says a lot about me that my one complaint about Linux so far is that I can't play Roblox using Ubuntu.

 

I swear I'm over 12 years of age.

    Really, it just can't run, even with windows on linux tools? The game seems so simple lol

    Apparently there is possibly a way to get running on Ubuntu, but I'm getting mixed results online so I'm not entirely sure.

    @Razor Blade isn't Android x86 in a VM better in that case?

    @firelighter487 Guess it depends on what you're wanting to do... If you want to emulate Android entirely then sure but if you're just wanting to run a game or two, anbox might be an easier alternative.

    @seozi haven't messed with roblox in ages, is it still any good or has the game been overrun by stupid crap?

    @Jtalk4456 The core game is still there and it's still fun to play the various games there are.

     

    Some stupid crap however, includes...

    • Extreme censorship - e.g "I love you", "I'm x age", obvious profanities, and other odities such as my own name being censored
    • RTHRO animations which replace the stock Roblox animations, not a lot of OG people like these new animations and I'm included in this one
    • Avatar scaling - you can be as small or tall as you want your avatar to be in the scaling options
    • PHYSICS. I was playing Natural Disaster Survival and the physics were insanely broken. One small tap and a piece of roof went flying away.
