well i have 2 users on the cloud one admin ( me ) and another one and i don't have to log in with my username but i have to click on "connect/reconnect" or sth like that. well i think i might just buy a cheap synology 2 bay nas(160€) with 2x 4tb (150€ each) and that would be the cheapest option^^
-
well i did that thing with the drive letter in windows and everytime i boot my pc i have to connect manually to the drive. so click on it with the explorer and then it starts connecting and its really annoying that it doesn't connect automatically:/ thats my cloud : http://www.amazon.de/Cloud-Pers%C3%B6nlicher-Cloud-Speicher-Zoll-wei%C3%9F/dp/B00FOKN7B0/ref=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&qid=1428914703&sr=8-1&keywords=wd+my+cloud+3tb

Well i already have the WD My Cloud so i think my network could handle it, but its kinda annoying to connect everytime then i boot my pc to the drive:/ and a nas with 4 bays is like 450€ without any drives and for example the lacie d2 6Tb is like 480€, so i think if i take a nas with 6 tb it would cost me like 710€ and thats a huge different:/

hi guys, i'm looking for a storage solution for my photo library. I'm looking for a 6+Tb solution, which is fast enough to edit those photos with lightroom and photoshop. The Photos are in Raw format, so they take about 20-30mb storage. What would u say i should buy? A fast Nas (how many bays?) or just an external usb 3 / thunderbold2 drive? it would be cool if i could connect it to two computers (imac/ win). thx in advance PS: i'm from germany so europe Pricing would be cool:P

guys the imac 5k is amazing!!! i've bought the i7 4ghz- 4,4ghz boost cpu and the m295x gpu, 256gb ssd and bought 32 gb ram separately (kingston hyper x 1866mhz). gaming is a pain in the ass but editing 4k videos is amazing *___* -

dacav5fan replied to dacav5fan's topic in Photography and Videography
the problem is that i want to buy the imac 5k and well i don't want to spent that amount of money haha so i was thinking which will help me more on the long run. upgrading the r9 m290x to a r9 m295x or upgrading the i5 3,5-3,9ghz to a i7 4-4,4 Ghz -

Should i buy the Apple iMac 5K with a huge discount?
dacav5fan replied to dacav5fan's topic in General Discussion
the thing is i already have a pretty nice gaming rig for the next 1-2 yrs so the imac would only be for editing pics with photoshop and co -
hey guys, so i'm not sure if i should buy the new 5k imac. i'm getting a huge discount until the first of january, from 2600€ i ll get it for 1500€. the 3099€ version with the i7 and the 295m graphic card would be 1900€. the point is that it doesn't have enough horsepower for what i need, i'd like to render fhd videos and i'm also into gaming on ultra => for that i 'll have to use my "old " PC. so the only point for getting the imac is to edit photos, but then i also need external storage and so on -.- a lil pain in the ass. what do u think does the screen justify the costs? (keep in mind the os only shows max 3200x2400 or so) thx

well ive bought my first 780ti in february for my 2,5k screen so i think it makes more sense to buy a sec for sli than selling by old 780ti to buy a 800 sli^^
