  1. I also ordered an i7 3770 a couple of days ago. Will the m91 be able to cool that or will i need to refund and get something better? If the 2400 is 95w would the 3770 be more because its more powerful?
  2. Thank you for all the information. I would have never known any of this.
  3. No when i said i "just" ordered it i was meaning in i ordered it a couple of days ago sorry i didn't go in depth with what i meant or if i didn't clarify very well. But yea ill get a tape measure tomorrow for sure. I really appreciate the advice.
  4. Also after reading reviews on the cpu cooler i have alot of people are reporting high temps and saying its not very good. Wow i really appreciate you telling me the brand. I would have never known. But hey cant expect much with a $12 cooler
  5. Yea i just ordered it and it came in today. I'm kind of scared to go in myself and do it i don't want to mess anything up as i am very inexperienced with hardware, I'll wait until i can get it done at a repair shop. Also you may or may not have the answer to this but by what you can see in the picture do you think i will have a problem putting in the cryorig m9i i just ordered? Also thank you so much for the in depth response.
  6. About 2 months ago. And yes usd
  7. Yes I'm desperate to get the temperatures down to no higher then 75 with load. Ill upload picture of case also
  8. Thank you for the response, im going to take the computer to a repair shop to get them to add thermal paste for me and put on my cooler when it comes in. Im on a budget so i ordered the cryorig m9i. Hopefully my temps come down quite a bit. But the cooler fan that is on now does spin. When i was in bios it said it was spining almost at 2500rpm if i can remember right. Also i bought this computer off of somebody online so i don't know what cooler is in it right now. It's been running Like a dream just the cpu is overheating drastically.
  9. Thank you for the response, i will definitely do that. Im new to computer and computer gaming, just now learning about thermal paste and things of that sort.
  10. I just ordered some artic silver 5. I appreciate the response, also i honestly don't know the brand its not the stock cooler it has an N or a Z on the front of the fan. I bought this computer off of someone online for about 350 so i don't know the details about the case or any upgrades he did. It's been running fine no problems with anything. Just the cpu is running hot.
  11. I5 2400 idles at 65~75 degrees and when gaming reaches above 95 degrees but doesn't shut down or lag. Also nothing else is overheating besides my cpu. Im sure its not a sensor error bc when i feel behind the cpu/heatsink on the case it's hot as well. I haven't turned my computer on in a while. I don't know what else to do, any help would be appreciated. I hope my motherboard isn't going bad. Cpu I5 2400 Gpu Gtx950 Ram 10gb Motherboard DH67BL Psu 500w Os Windows 10
