  1. Yes, we saw that EK waterblock last week, and we asked our client he'd like to go for this one. The bad news is that after contacting PNY France this week, they confirmed us that watercooling the card would void the waranty. Our customer doesn't feel confortable taking the risk, at least for now... Be sure I'll be back if he changes his mind, watercooling that card would have been a very nice experience
  2. Oh, I did not see that. I was on their website (https://www.bykski.us/collections/new-products/products/bykski-full-coverage-gpu-water-block-and-backplate-for-leadtek-rtx-a6000-n-rtxa6000-x) and just so "Coming soon"
  3. Yes, we're in touch with Bykski, and we all think theses cards should be the same. The waterblock doesn't have a release date yet, but we'll definitly share the installation of the water block asap
  4. Thanks for the teardown, very cool! One customer in our shop wants to watercool his A6000, and finding a waterblock is not that easy Just to be sure : is yours a PG133C model? I was hoping to useyour teardown as a reference for the PCB (I d'ont think there's a lot of different model for this kind of GPU, but you never know...)
  5. Hey guys, I'm having a problem with this monitor (my friend's one actually) right now. It's kind of a weird problem : at 60Hz, there is some kind of "wave" effect on it, like falling horizontal lines. It's really hard to see this, but on dark wallpaper (like the old Windows 10 default one), it's visible. at 144Hz, no lines at all, work perfectly Wouldn't be a problem, except that my friend use it for her computer, and her PS4, which needs to switch do 60Hz ? We already tried to switch it to another one (I work in the shop where she bought it), but no luck. Same problem, maybe even worse. We got other AOC monitors in the shop, and none of them have this behavior at 60Hz, the only difference in spec is the IPS panel. TN and VA works flawlessly at 60Hz, that's my only clue about this. Did anyone of you had this problem? Is it due to some "shady" settings in the monitor?
  6. I'm not sure he wanna try to liquid cool the server, but it could be a last try solution. The Quanta E45309-006 Heatsink looks close indeed. In fact, it looks the same as the Intel E453309-007 I found earlier, but this only is likely 3 or 4U, where the right one seems to be its little brother, a 2U version. It may lead to something The HP Proliant DL580 G7 one look too tall, and the screws do not fit. We already tried a Supermicro heatsink for this socket, but it didn't fit either I will ask him if he can find the precise novascale model, that should be usefull indeed. Anyway, thanks for the answers, I'll keep you guys in touch
  7. Hello guys, I have a friend who needs to find a spare heat sink, for a bull novascale server. He wants to setup a third Xeon E7-4850, and obviously needs to find a third cooler for that. I included somes pictures of the server and the cooler he has. After some intensive research, I did found some LGA1567 heat sink, but none of them seems right. The closet thing I found was the Intel E45309-007, which it too tall, compared to the cooler he already got. I know that's something thats way too much old, but he wants to try anyway, so anything, any piece of information will be appreciated.
