Im trying to make a mini itx build with a budget of 500-550 USD, i made this but does anyone have any suggestions or any comments on how i can improve it or add and make it better without adding too much cost? i made it keeping in mind the price of a windows key. i ordered condensor not knowing it was condensonr , i did it a while back when i was barely getting into the tech world, and yeah i saw that the notch to turn up the db i tried and it wouldnt let me, and then it said that the mic had no jack connection for no reason. its plugged into the motherboard in the little red circle thing it says there is no jack information when before it told me it was connected to the red mic spot on the motherboard

so i just bought everything i needed for this condenser mic i had and i wanted to use, and everything was smooth nothing was off the mic was fine the phantom power supply was on everything was working, except i try to go and use it to talk to some friends on discoed and it does not register my voice, so. i went to discord settings and saw that yes my mic was connected to be the mic i use to talk but it wasnt taking my voice and making it so my friends could hear me so then i went to the audio settings on windows 10 and i saw that my mic was working, it was just reeeeeaaalllyyy quiet ( like so quiet i think thats why discord wouldnt take the sound bc it probably tought it was background noise it was that low) and so i cranked up the input volume on discord and you still can cant hear my voice. is there anything i can do to bring up the volume so that u can actually hear my voice thru the mic? ( i know very little abuot microphones and this kinda stuff, like i know i have to talk into it and thats it. The mic i have is the Neewer NW-800 and the phantom power supply is the Neewer 1 channel 48v phantom power supply.

Alright, thanks I’ll just tell my cousin to shell out those extra bucks to not have to worry about any bios updates or getting a crappy apu from ryzen and pay to send it back to them

How can I check if the motherboard comes with the bios update needed, I wanted to use this one

So my cousin wants to build a pc, but he doesn’t want it for much, more so for playing games like emulators, fortnite, and league. He also didn’t wanna spend too much on it so I told him to just go wth one of ryzen a apu’s and to leave space in his pc for future upgrades and when we came up with the list of parts on pc part picker, we saw that warning saying some motherboards don’t have bios updates for the new raven ridge cpu’s and I was wondering, what do I do about that? Because it says I would need a cpu that does work on that motherboard and install the bios update with that cpu and then I can put in the raven ridge cpu. Is there an alternative or do I have to buy a cheap cpu and then do the bios update take out the cpu and put in the raven ridge cpu?

Ok I reset my bios but I’m still getting the same “an error has occurred” screen, could it be because of like when u get windows usb u have to like choose a language and like stuff like that, and I havnt done that.

I was crapping my pants when u said it might be usb because I paid $120 for that junk, and if it wouldn’t have worked. I would be pulling my hair out right now! And I’m not sure how I to set my bios back to factory settings. I’m gonna look it up rn.

It might be the usb but idk and I cans really make another install of windows, or Linux because the only other compute in my house is my Mac, that I was given and I can’t use the media creation tool on that, and I don’t know if it will let me download linux off of a Mac ether, and the usb I’m using is the one that came in this box for the windows 10 key

Ok so I get this right, and ya saying ya ether a hardware or software problem, should I just reset my bios? I didn’t do anything there but maybe I clicked something or that thing that the other guy was telling me AHCI. Maybe that has something to do with it? Or could it be that second picture that I don’t have the win 10 whql support on

So what do I do with the AHCI? I forgot lol.
