  1. Check your power states in your bios settings, They are supposed to be set to S3 (Suspend to Ram), If im not mistaken they will be set to S1
  2. If i remember correctly there should be a setting in BIOS to change that. I will look deeper into it and let you know what I find
  3. Yes you could You can use poweriso or something similar to burn the ISO make sure its a dvd though
  4. It would be easier to get an iso of windows xp home edition instead of trying to find a key
  5. Oh i see, Here you go http://www.mini-box.com/picoPSU-150-XT Edit: Hehe nevermind someone above me posted it lmao
  6. No problem, Maybe I missed what you were looking at I will look again I was going by the plug he had in his right hand. Heh
  7. Did you get it sorted? If not people were right in saying you do need an OEM disc. If that is the case the Certificate will say OEM on it.
  8. its a standard laptop power supply going into a board he made himself im guessing
  9. Sorry forgot its amd HD7850. temps are nominal and it happens on a fresh install of windows after about 20 mins. It could be motherboard. It does seem to happen when accessing a certain drive. Thanks will look into that.
  10. Hey everyone, First here is system specs. Motherboard: Gigabyte X58-UD7 Latest BIOS Cpu: Intel Core I7 920 D0 stock clocks Ram: 8 GBs DDR3 1333 Mhz Samsung 850 SSD 250 GB 2 WD 1 TB Drives OS Windows 10 Home 64 Bit / Linux Mint 18 Sound: Logitech G430 headset and Realtek Internal Sound So my problem is whenever I go to open a program and make the computer work at all any sound or even mouse movement stutters as its trying to open said program or even load a web page. Im thinking it may be CPU related but wanted another opinion. I have tried different hard drives and ram but still the same. A reboot fixes it for a minute or so but it immediately comes back. Happens in linux aswell. But this being said I can convert a avi file to dvd and nothing stutters I have also tried aida64 for a solid 8 hours and nothing errord out so im not sure Thanks ahead of time
  11. Quad core, just anything more reliable if there is anythingI'm looking to get as much speed as possible so its not bogged down as much as it is. I'm gonna throw a solid state in it and 1 Gb Ethernet card aswell
  12. Hey everyone! I have a amd phenom 2 and 8 GBs of ram. 3 tb hard drive space. Now it's setup running ts3 plex and general media sharing all from windows 7. But its terribly slow and was looking for any knowledge on what to do to make it more reliable and faster. I have some Linux knowledge but not for servers. If you guys can give me some guides or any good information it would be muchly appreciated thank you!
  13. I have a similar setup. I can't go back because everything I use is stored on a server. I'm thinking of putting all my steam games onto a NAS and also wondering if it would be fast enough.
  14. They are loud at full speed why did you just use MSI afterburner or something and put it to 100%
  15. I don't really care if I win but just wanted to say great job and don't ever stop!! But I first started watching Linus when he first started on NCIX and enjoyed the way he did his videos and always has! I love the way he does the nmvideos now the style is unlike any other and is amazing!
