  1. (Mods delete if not in correct area) Our ISP(Telstra) Router died today as the crappy ISP provided UPS died(I should have been replaced last year but the rest of my family are not very tech savy and I never noticed the sticker on the bottom of it). The ISP says it'll be 5 days for a new one to be posted to us. I need help looking for a router that is budget friendly($200 AUD Max) and works with Australia's (crappy) NBN. Otherwise we are gonna be without inter for 5 days and then have another terrible ISP provided router. Specs don't need to be anything fancy but it needs at least 4 ethernet ports out. And it needs to be able to be bought from a store(in Brisbane, QLD, Australia) If you need anymore details to help let me know and I'll get back to you as soon as possible. I am the tech savy person but I'm not to good with the networking space. From Lanson and Thanks in advance.
  2. If its a little over thats ok, I'm looking for one as a secondary drive and have mainly been looking at the Samsung 870 QVO but wanted to get some second opionions. Also in Australia.
  3. Second hand is fine. I kind forgot about second hand part somehow
  4. Budget (including currency): 500Aud Country: Australia Games, programs or workloads that it will be used for: Obs streaming and recording. Minecraft. Maybe forza horizon. Euro Truck simulator 2. American truck simulator. Pc building Simulator Other details (existing parts lists, whether any peripherals are needed, what you're upgrading from, when you're going to buy, what resolution and refresh rate you want to play at, i would need some sort of wifi as the room I'm in doesn't have ethernet hooked up. 60hz is fine for refresh rate. I am also upgrading from my laptop and would like to out put to 2 monitors. Amd system is preferred. I will be buying the parts in a few weeks when I save up for it.
  5. The wifi card isn't soldered it like an M.2 or NVMe SSD but smaller and with the antenna wires.
  6. I wouldn't recommend upgrading the wifi card because they are usually hard to replace. There are part but if your inexperienced I wouldn't recommend doing it.
  7. Hers an upgrade guide for the ram: https://www.windowscentral.com/more-ram-dell-xps-15-9550-9560 If you have an external Hard drive or SSD back up your data to that along with Windows 10 to reinstall it to your new SSD. The SSD is as simple as removing the current one and putting the new one in. The SSD only had one Philips Head screw keeping it down. Hope that helps!
  8. In Australian Dollars Acer Nitro 5 with AMD CPU and GPU is creat for video editing priced at $740 this comes with Ryzen 5, 16GB Ram, Amd Radeon and 512GB SSD. Or in USD you can get an ASUS TUF FX505, Ryzen 7 up to 4GHZ clock speed, 16GB ram, a Nividia 1650 and 512GM NVMe SSD.
