I'm having a weird issue on my.hp revolve 810 that I'm honestly very confused by. When I drew with it part of the screen would just not be able to be drawn on, it was really strange. Like the rest was ok, but that one part, was just unable to be drawn on. I ended up reinstalling windows and the problem persisted leading me to believe it was a hardware change, however things got much stranger when I installed Linux on the machine. The line of undrawable area persisted but moved around the screen depending on where I zoomed in and no matter what application I tried to dra2 in I ran into this issue. I have no idea what's going on or what to even provide to help get an answer. I'm sorry I'm just very very very confused. I quickly drew an example of the line I was talking about here.

I want to move into the wireless earbuds space out of convienience but I don't know where to start. I ordered a pair a little while ago for like $8 not expecting the sound quality to be that good at all but was actually pleasantly surprised only to find out there was a 3 second desync of audio which made viewing audio and video at the same time super weird. I'm just looking for a pair of totally wireless earbuds that don't have this delay. Also I don't thank that much money so something affordable. Thank you!

So I've been thinking about upgrading my computer but i I use my computer for are audio recording/ light video editing (never anything more than 1080p) and playing games. The most intensive being a very heavy Minecraft mod pack. My current pc specs are: CPU: Intel Xeon 1220 3.1ghz quad core motherboard: intel extreme board dz77ga-70k memory: 8gb of ddr3 1600mhz GPU: Radeon r9 280 3gb storage: 640gb hard drive PSU: 650-watt corsair power supply I don't really have a set budget that I'm willing to spend because the research that I've been doing has been all over the place also why I'm asking for advice. sorry i forgot to update this. when i went into sound setting sin windows and in the levels setting theres a speaker icon and it had turned off for some reason. took me two hours to find but i got it Thank you!

randomly today i restarted my computer and now it wont work. it worked fine before but now the microphone input wont pick up my piano and i dont know what do do. i retraced my steps unplugging and replugging in everything, turning different deviced on in different orders. i cant make it work. Help!

im trying to get the sound from the piano and use it in something like discord.

so I have a Yamaha electric piano and decided to try and use it with my desktop. At first, I wired the aux output of the piano to the mic input of my computer and of course that didn't work. Next, I used a USB cable to connect the keyboard to my computer and installed the Yamaha drivers to it but I can't figure out how to get the piano to act as a microphone for my computer. please help. It shows up but I can't find a way to make it an audio input. thanks!

So ive been using an electric ripstik for quite some time and it works completely fine except when I want to go up steeper hills. At first I was going to try and find a 21v battery and just increase it from the 2000 mAh that was there before to something higher capacity. When I opened the bottom of the scooter I found that there was space for a much larger battery and also that the connector the plug was using was a standard hobby T connecter. That got me wondering if I could use like an 7-8S lipo battery and make the scooter have more torque. Would this actually work or would it fry the electronics. Thanks!

So i know this isn't really coding since I'm using a tool to help me but this was the only section that fit into. I'm creating a mod using the program mcreator and it's an amulet that gives a potion effect from another mod. It's just for a server me and a few friends are playing on. When I go into the code section of mcreator and replace the vanilla potion effect with a modded one it gives me an error because it doesn't know what the effect is. So I'm basically asking how to do this. On the other side I tried since this is a one item mod that I could maybe do just a simple /testfor @p {Inventory:[{id:"minecraft:(whatever item we choose)"}]} but the only way I can see that work is having a command block for each player and their specific ign to receive the portion effect. If there's an easy way to do this with command blocks that would be way more ideal I just don't know how. Thank you!

so I'm using Linux mint 19 and I'm trying to get the full twitch launcher and well twitch only supports windows. I'm trying to download a game mod on the twitch launcher and right now my current idea is to load windows onto a spare hard drive. copy the files to a flash drive, then run them in Linux but if there's an easier way pleeease tell me.

so doing some testing my cpu was maxing at 100% on all for cores while my gpu was sitting at around 15-20% usage. i think theres a bottleneck

both. mostly gaming as i do most of my work on my laptop but if i need to do video editing i use my desktop because my laptop cant handle that workload. most of the tasks i do are very cpu intensive. is there any way to see what's causing the bottleneck in a game or something? last time i checked my cpu gets a cinebech score of 400

your computer has an hdmi port on it. use a hdmi cable to connect it to your monitor. If your tv doesn't have HDMI you can buy an adapter on like amazon or Newegg. So recently I've started wishing I had a bit more performance but I don't have enough money to completely build a new computer. My current build is a result of craigslist sniping over a year and putting those parts together to make what i have now.
