  1. i was recently given a evga Hybrid cooler for my evga 2080ti ftw3 ultra and was looking to replace the old thermal pads on the Hybrid cooler, I went to evga website and it say the most thermal pad 1mm so i recently bought some but they look far to thin compared to what is on there from factory I called evga the rep pretty much told me the same thing as online so i bought some 1.5mm and in some spots the look a lil thicker both sets of pads are Fujipoly, so I'm just confused after looking through the internet was hoping to get some reassurance and some help on here please

  9. my Build Case:Corsair 570x MotherBoard:Asus Rog Maximus x code Cpu: I7-8700k Aio: Corsair 150i pro running push pull Fans: Corsair ll120 Ram: Corsair Vengeance rgb Gpu:Evga Rtx 2080ti FTW3 Psu: Corsair 650w rmi i just recently decide to giver overclocking a try and i think i messed up cause my frames in games have drop first thing i did was upgrade my bios to the latest firmware and made sure everything else was update then i followed der8auer guide https://youtu.be/CoUtA7DKXhU the only thing i change was cpu ghz to 4.7 and a avx offset to 0 and cpu voltage to1.270 then i stressed tested it for 2 hours and never crashed with thermals maxing out at 72c as for my gpu i loaded up heaven benchmark went for 1000mhz in memory and 110 clock and i went full on voltage/gpu temp/power thermals maxing out at 63 didn't notice anything wrong until i loaded up a game so i checked all my setting loaded up the stress test one more time for cpu and gpu that when i noticed frame rate drop in heaven so i went back to my bios loaded up the default presets did the same with my gpu default preset and i am still getting bad frame rate.
  10. I’m guessing it the same deal for overclocking the gpu as well it should have no effect? Thanks for you help
  11. Thanks you and I know this is gonna sound stupid but does having rgb on matter the other day when i was scrolling through the forum I saw a comment about turning off rgb is better when overclocking??
  12. my Build Case:Corsair 570x MotherBoard:Asus Rog Maximus x code Cpu: I7-8700k Aio: Corsair 150i pro running push pull Fans: Corsair ll120 Ram: Corsair Vengeance rgb Gpu:Evga Rtx 2080ti FTW3 Psu: Corsair 650w rmi im new to OC and wanted to know if my power supply is strong enough to overclock my cpu & gpu to there full potential or do I need to upgrade my power supply reason I have 650w is cause I had a asus strix 1080 before I upgraded and never thought about overclocking until I got my hands on a 2080ti for a good price
