  1. ye could give it a go but the card is a fair bit smaller than the one you posted and i think i would only be able to get 1 fan on it, could try a couple of 80mm's i guess but i think i might go with one of the custom coolers as idle it sits at around 52c
  2. i have the gigabyte rtx 2070 windforce 2. from my research its not the fans thats the issue and instead its how there mounted because the plastic backing is pressed up against the heatsink so when the fans are running it rattles the plastic against the metal.
  3. the raijintek morpheus II could work but the other isnt available in the uk. thanks for the sugestion.
  4. so when i built my pc it was about 3 months before the nvidea 3000 series launched so i got a 2070 so it would be easy to resell and i could upgrade to a 3070 or 3080 but well i couldent get one. so the gpu i got was cheep with a terrible cooler on it so was wondering if there was any custom stuff that i can fit on it to replace the cooler as its noisy and makes a ratteling noise and isnt great at cooling the card. i had a look at the NZXT kraken g12 but its for the 1000 series and im not sure if it will work natively so was wondering if anyone knew of anything else, i cant afford to do a full custom loop so im looking more for a new set of fans and a better heatsink, i have space for a full length cooler but its a 2 fan card as it is now. the card is a gigabyte rtx 2070 windforce 2. little more info on it: temps: tops at 82 with a slight undervolt noise: when the fan is going above about 50% it rattles like the vibrations from the fans are going through the heat spreader.

  14. thanks for all the advice and btw your build is sexy, i did want to do watercooling for the looks and because my room gets hot in summer and i didnt think air would cool as well as a liquid cooling loop and when i said what sizes for the components i meant everything because cant yu get diferant sized reservoir, pump, tube, radiators, cooling blocks and thank you for letting me know that you do it once a year and a easyer draining solution i think im going to do it now
