  2. 8gb. 4gb is good for 4k iirc but I'm pretty sure it's not enough for 8k if you're gaming
  3. yeah, I haven't noticed anything bad with nvidia drivers except sometimes crashing when I overclock and stuff. I guess I can't judge this based on just someone's experience then. thanks!
  4. I've heard that AMD drivers are horrible compared to Nvidia, but what's the exact difference?
  5. yeah, that price is very attractive. I'll keep this board in mind. thanks a lot man!
  6. hmm, is there a big difference between the two chipsets on these boards? I'm not too familiar with the differences between chipsets, sorry. Edit: I'm gonna go with the b75 one. Thanks a lot man!
  7. I see. I've been thinking about going asus or gigabyte. the problem is from what I've seen, Asus doesn't have very many cheap boards. What do you recommend?
  8. how's asrock? I've heard a lot of horror stories about their boards breaking and them not replacing the board.
  9. I'm building a new build out of spare parts and the motherboard is something that I don't currently have. Preferably around $100-$150. I haven't really built around this price range before and I'm seeing a lot of Gigabyte ones that are cheap but just look trashy. are those worth it?
  10. I like how the 900 series is better than my wimpy 660ti D: Edit: oh shit posetd this twice can someone take this one down?
  11. they're pretty reputable in the audio world. However, I used to have just the normal s4's I think (I forgot the exact model, sorry) but they would stop working after a while because the cables under the shroud that is right above the plug would get detatched from the plug so they wouldn't produce any sound. I wouldn't go with them if I were you. They had great sound while they worked though.
  12. I think for that res you should be worrying about having enough v-ram than having a good enough cpu. as everyone else has said, your cpu is amazing for years to come.
  13. is there any difference between "4k surround" and 4k? or is surround just a fancy term? Edit: 69 POST HYPE
  14. not out and won't be for a while. predicting the performance of them is near useless.
