  1. Sorry for the late response. I haven't read the other replies, but i hope you fixed your problem! If you wanna test your usage, you should do it while gaming, and note the answer after you've played for a while.
  2. Have you tried downloading MSI Afterburner or any software like it, and checking your CPU, GPU, Ram usage. Temperatures and percentages. I don't have much experience with the components, but im betting you could figure out wether or not the cpu is the bottleneck by using Afterburner. Let's say the CPU usage is at 100% and the GPU's usage is only at 70%. That means that the CPU is preventing the GPU from reaching 100% capasity, however if your GPU is at 100%, its not hindered. There are lot's of youtube tutorials on this topic. The software is free too, and it doesn't take too long, so i'd definitely try it. Edit: The other replies werent there when i wrote, but i am guessing they probably can help you out better than i can.
  3. Thank you both. I'll get the 6GB 1060. Ryzen 2600x Meshify C is the case i ended up with. X470 Rog Strix Motherboard, w/wifi A faster 250gig ssd and 1 tb harddrive 16 gigs 3000mhz ram. Little cheaper too.
  4. I'm looking at the GTX 1060, but for strictly 1080p high to ultra, is the 3GB enough? There is a 120$ difference between 3 and 6GB, and for that i could get an AiO to overclock further. What would you do?
  5. Ok, i didn't know that! Now i've got a month to decide what i want to do. Thank you for your help!
  6. Edit: Swapping out the 1050ti for a 1060. Still under budget, a better option for me. I could wait for the next gen, but im not sure when its coming out, and i dont have the patience are playing on my laptop for 3 years now.
  7. The Cryorig C7 could also work, but the one in Norway doesn't seem like the exact model in the US. People have complained a bit about noise, and the Noctua Nh-L9i is only for 1151 socket it looks like. Additionally i can't afford 8500 or 8600 without dropping down to 8 gigs of ram. I could do it, but it would have to be 1x8GB not 2x4GB so i can upgrade. How much of a performance drop would it be to get single channel ram? I've been looking at another build, with a 2600x, X470, and Gtx 1050 ti. I think that's fine for me personally too. I dont want much more than 1080p, 60 fps is ok too. This build is cheaper too. I can upgrade the GPU later if i wanted too. I think the extra threads would probably mean that it'd have a longer life span before i have to get a new too.
  8. The stock coolers are both good, but neither will fit in the node 202. I'm looking at getting a 2600x in a bit larger case though. Just don't wanna sacrifice too much portability.
  9. Ok. I'll change it so something with a faster write speed. I looked at the 2600, but i couldn't find any cooler that would fit, without blocking the ram too. I'm open to changing to a bigger form facter. Maybe mATX.
  10. I won't be able to reply the next couple of hours. I'll to be going to a handball match soon!
  11. 1. Budget & Location My budget is around 13000 NOK (Norwegian Krone) or about 1650 usd, but not that high in reality. Taxes makes my USD budget a bit lower. komplett.no is the site i use in Norway. 2. Aim The aim of the computer is to play games. Preferably at 1080p 144hz, now and a couple years into the future. I play GTA V, Rainbow, League and everything in between. I will probably move between houses, so i'd a appreciate if the computer came in a smaller case. Like a m-itx one. I was looking around and came up with this build, but im not sure if it's the best i could get. https://www.komplett.no/wishlist/shared/7755c7c5-7823-44d5-9bd6-76c5d2f3385b 3. Monitors I'll need to pick one up, and it'll probably be 1080p and 144hz. I could be convinced to buy a 60hz or 75 hz instead, but it would have to be for a good reason. (Like better quality parts or something) 4. Peripherals I'll need peripherals, but keyboard, mouse and monitor are not included in my budget. I am planning on picking up the Cooler Master 80$ keyboard and mouse combo. Points to note I'm going to need a wifi card, if it is not included. It would be appreciated if you would be willing to make the partlists on komplett.no instead of PCPartPicker or anything like that. It's fine, but I noticed there are some parts on one but not the other. Im ofcourse open to change to AMD cpu and gpus, though im not sure how recommendable AMD gpus are right now. Thanks for any input you give! - Ohbees
  12. Forgot to add this, so just gonna comment - Any words on the included psu, it would be cheaper, but is it as good?
  13. Next month, i will be building a new computer. I live in Norway, so the prices will be a bit different, but i will include both a local and pcpartpicker link. NOTE: PCPARTPICKER Didn't have the correct case or psu. I intend to use a Node 202 and a corsair SF450. The cooler is the Noctua NH-L9i. If you were to recommend any other hardware, i would appreciate it if it wouldnt cost any more that the current build. I will be playing on 1080p 144hz (peripherals not included), and the 1070 Ti will probably be a bit overkill, but i don't believe it will be in 2020. I'm not planning to upgrade early, so keep that in mind. I would appreciate any ideas or improvements. I am open to get different parts, either AMD or Intel. I will most likely move between houses often so i would prefer smaller computers, but its not a necessity. What would be better between 8400 and 2600, i don't know what AM4 cooler i could use.
