  1. AMD just got a contract to supply one of Europe’s largest high performance computing (HPC) clusters. They will supply 4,600 epyc 7601 cpu’s. “Düsseldorf and Tokyo, June 18, 2019 - NEC Corporation (NEC; TSE: 6701) today announced that Deutsches Zentrum für Luft- und Raumfahrt (DLR) - the German Aerospace Center - has awarded NEC with the delivery and installation of a new High Performance Computing (HPC) cluster solution, which constitutes one of the largest recent HPC tenders in Europe” https://www.nec.com/en/press/201906/global_20190618_02.html
  2. It really should have just been USB ports on the motherboards. That way you could use them directly internally if you need to. Why they are headers at all is stupid.
  3. Look, I’ve done it twice. Anyone saying it won’t be fine had never done it. im sure you’re asking about those sff pc’s. They handle a 1050ti just fine. also that 75w tdp isn’t accurate. I measured full system load in my old i7 2600 1050ti at only 95w in farcry 4. No way the gpu was pulling 75w and the rest of the system combined 20w.
  4. You’re screwed to a 1030 single slot unless you order the Japanese 1050ti single slot but even that might be too long to fit Or running at 1x pci also you have a sff not a mt
  5. Do you live in the frozen north and need your computer to double as a space heater in the winter? Lol
  6. It’s the bios, sorry. But old dell’s of that gen work, hp’s don’t. We get this question a lot.
  7. The best graphics cards “barely” do 4k. If you want a cheap 4K gaming card you want the 12 or 13 series from nvidia. So basically you can get what you want in 2-5 years. Not being a smart-ass, that’s the real honest answer. Cheap and 4K gaming belong in the same sentence like freedom and life in prison.
  8. Did you ddu the driver and start over? ddu is a program to totally remove all gpu drivers
  9. We can’t tell you because there were multiple options and who knows who did what before you if it was a used system. more importantly, why do you care what it used to have? If it’s so you can sell the card just put it back in and run gpuz.
  10. Idk about esports but it seems like you have good frames when not near anyone and hey drop if near people. Is it a internet connection issue?
  11. Idk if a 1060 6gb new is a good deal for $400 cnd. my used 1070 is on Craigslist for $300 usd. Maybe you have deals locally on a good used card? I’m basically selling a 1070 for the same price you are getting a 1060 for.
  12. I’ve never, not once, ever had a power warning on either of my 1050ti’s while gaming in computers with 240w poser supplies and pci-e slots that claim to be only 35w... what application is giving you the warning?
  13. Also instead of cutting, just buy the low profile gpu version. No cutting needed.
