Aio arent supposed to be dead silent, if its dead silent means your pump is dead. you mentioned whining noise, is it high pitched?

That isnt very loud, seems normal to me, I have the x62. This should be the sound of the pump, anyways if it really is broken do send them a ticket at https://www.nzxt.com/customer-support from my experience their service is pretty good.

Are you on the latest bios? I have the same board but not the same ram but it does hit 3000mhz

A 1050ti should do you well, or a rx570, if you get those your next upgrade route would be 1070 and above.

wouldn't recommend rx580 for 1440p, probably a gtx1070 would be better if not the 580 should be 8gb not 4gb.

a 1070ti is the same as a 1080, this might help or may not too haha anyways good luck finding a card!

The pros and cons of both motherboards are honestly just for looks as they are both B chipsets, but getting the 1070ti than the rx590 you will get more performance although it is only 8gb of ram, the rx590 only performs kinda just like a 1070, and a 1070ti when oc'ed is basically a 1080. 8gb is still sufficient, just upgrade later down the road, but do upgrade quick as ryzen likes dual channel speeds. edit: A gtx1070ti doesnt need to be upgraded as quick as a rx590 (which is only a rx580 oc'ed) edit edit lol: you may want to consider the r5 2600 with the x, you can still overclock the 2600 to the performance of the 2600x, but only get the 2600 if the price diff is like 50 bucks or more(and spend it on ram) if its just like 10 dollars more for the 2600x then just stick with the 2600x.

Maybe me and my friend is just unlucky but our rtx2080 strix editions couldn't even be overclocked by 10mhz and not have to hard restart our computers and there was also artifacts... seems like on newegg alot of people have kinda the same problems that the rtx cards fail really quickly.

Yes highly agree codecademy, you don't need to pay for 'pro' its just a teacher that can check your code so it doesnt really matter for a few hundred.

I download windows onto my macbook, so dont worry about that, its nice to have both macOS and windows
