  1. Good luck finding anything decent with linux support lol There are some really nice Samsung printers but no Linux driver support.
  2. The sensor is arguably worse on the 8000 series
  3. Logitech G502 Spectrum, Mionix Naos 7000 (not 8000 model), and this might seem like an odd choice but the coolermaster storm sentinel I, II, or III are fantastic options for the type of mice your looking for. I'm currently using the G502 since I can't find anything thats ergonomically fits better, it really sucks to have sausage hands.
  4. As long as you don't enable the 7.1 for the artificial surround sound then it is pretty neutral.
  5. I don't think its the greatest for music from my testing but it depends on how much of an audiophile you are, most gaming headsets are "Okay" for music but the only one that really fit for both at-least for me was the HyperX Cloud II's
  6. I've had the x62 Kraken cooler setup for a little under a year, I've experienced this grinding noise for about 6 months with all the same hardware installed. When I first got the cooler I ran the pump on 100% for around a week straight in the hope of eliminating any air buildup since I've heard that can cause noise as well.
  7. Hello, I've been having an audible grinding noise coming from my computer near my x62 Kraken AIO cooler but I'm having a hard time determining what is causing it. I made a video recording of the sound in case anyone perhaps know what this is: It starts at 0:24 and 0:52 and annoying me to no end.
  8. While I completely agree on the part of NVIDIA's drivers being very inconsistent if not buggy sometimes, I've been running my system without the aforementioned problem for about a week now without any re-occurrence so at this point I'm pretty darn sure it was the NZXT C.A.M Software causing problems. Why? I'm not sure and it sucks because I'm using some RGB components of their hardware and now I can't control it, its better to have a working computer though. TLDR CAM Sucks
  9. I have two monitors connected and had some spare cables to try in the four connection ports for the GPU (1 HDMI + 3 DP) and didn't matter what combination of port or cable I tried I was able to replicate the problem. I tried booting into safe mode per recommendation of a previous poster here to try and determine if this is a hardware or software problem and in safe mode I didn't seem to have the problem. Just today I was uninstalling some software that I know has some hardware dependencies (because why not) and after removing NZXT's CAM Software and restarting once I didn't seem to have this problem for at least two boot attempts (haven't had to reboot since). I will contact NVIDIA as you mentioned if I see this shit happen again as I re-boot the system from normal use. I'm honestly surprised that it seems CAM was causing this problem, although I can't really say anything conclusive for right now.
  10. True I would expect the whole computer to have problems if it was a voltage problem. I'm not sure what else to do or try
  11. I actually just tried that last night with a copy of windows 10 that was pre-creators update (thank god I have like 10 USB OS installers) no dice. Whats the likelihood it could be a problem with PSU? something like a voltage fluctuation
  12. Tried re-installing graphics card drivers (clean install from NVIDIA install options) and restarting, unfortunately problem still occurs. This is some weird shit.
  13. I have not tried re-installing graphics drivers (I assume that's what you meant?) and will try that since I just installed the drivers when I did a fresh install. Sadly I don't have another GPU on hand
  14. Hello, I'm at a loss to a problem I've been having with my main gaming PC. When I boot the system up and it brings me to the Windows 10 login screen shortly after that my monitor goes blank almost as if it lost video input from my graphics card however, the whole computer is still powered on and it also refuses to let me manually shut it off by pressing and holding the power button on my computer case. I can usually get past this problem after one or two boot attempts, but each time it fails I have to flick the main power switch on my power supply for each boot attempt which is not ideal. When I can actually get past this problem my computer works fine with the monitors showing input for until I power off the system. My computer also was working fine without this problem for about a year prior and I only seem to have noticed this when I did my most recent Windows 10 fresh install which is also when Microsoft rolled out the new creators update. My computer specifications are as follows: - BIOS Version: 3805 - OS: Windows 10 Pro 64 bit - Computer Case: NZXT S340 Elite (White) - CPU: Ryzen 7 1700 (OC to 3.7GHZ) - CPU Cooler: NZXT Kraken X62 AIO Liquid Cooler - Motherboard: ASUS Prime X370-Pro - Ram: Galax 16GB Kit (8GB x2) 3600MHZ (DOCP Default of 3200MHZ) - GPU: Galax GTX 1070 Exoc Snipr (White) - PSU: EVGA SuperNOVA 750 G3 (750W) - HDD: Samsung 850 Evo 500GB 2.5 inch SSD, Samsung 850 Evo 250GB 2.5 inch SSD, Samsung Spinpoint F3 1TB Mechanical Drive - Misc: NZXT AC-HUEPS-M1 Hue+ (LED Controller) + Two NZXT AER RGB Fans - Monitor: Asus VS248H-P (x2 monitors) Have various USB devices plugged in (Mouse, Microphone, Keyboard, Speakers) There is no error code I'm aware of for this issue. I've triple checked cables to make sure everything is plugged in. tried turning it off and back on for a boot cycle. Disabling all over-clocks. Blowing out the system in case of dust build up. Making sure all drivers are updated, BIOS revision for Ryzen 2nd gen came out on the 17th of this month which I have yet to update to but I had this issue before that as well. I have set my power settings to Ryzen Balanced and all power saving or hibernate options are turned off.
