only 16 gigs really and yea seems excessive and i prolly wont use it all just a ballpark figure

well i mean even if it's an older 300 series board it dosent have to be an x470 board just looking for some solid suggestions

hi there planning a new build very soon have already decided ona ryzen 5 2600x the thing i'm seriously hung up on is a new motherboard and ram i need a mobo that is reliable and stable good build quality etc my budget for the ram/mobo is about 600 in total i'd appreciate it if anyone could suggest a good motherboard/ram for this build other parts include gtx 1060 6gb ryxen5 2600x evga 750w psu already have my case from old build and 2 ssd's as well as ty for any advice much appreciated im just really hung up on not getting a dead/unstable motherboard
