Like i said i need the ability to hook up over USB to my Phone or laptop as well, once I fully switch to my laptop I will not be in one place where I always have the same wifi network. i need to be able to plug it into power and use it like a giant USB Drive.

So i currently have 32TB of half HDD half SSD In my Desktop. I'm only using like 20% of this, I just upgraded from only 5TB. I also have another 24TB in HDDs As well as my old 4TB HDD that has a lot of hours on it. My first plan was keep the data in my desktop and use 18TB for backups, But in a year I may be fully switching to a laptop which makes this whole plan useless, since I cant put all these drives in a laptop. So now I could either build a little box that holds a Raspberry Pi 4B and make a NAS Server out of it and store my data on there, or I could do the same with a mini Windows PC and make a NAS Server that can run basically any NAS Software, But the biggest problem I'm having is if I did make this setup, How would I be able to access my files over USB? With the laptop I will not always have a set network that I can use this with, so having the ability to plug it into a phone or laptop via USB is important. the other issue is speed limitations, and then of course having duplicates incase any drives failed. So at this point I'm not really sure the best way to set everything up. What should I do?

I Restarted, Went in and out of the Bluetooth settings a few times, and now its working perfectly with the HP Driver, Thanks.

So im Getting somewhere with this.. broadcoms website says they no longer offer driver downloads, microsofts website had downloads for random files that were not installable drivers, and I didn't want to use a driver from some random website, but an HP Forum post gave me a download link for an HP Bluetooth driver With Broadcom. It put another Stupid icon in my tray, and now I have two since the other one didn't go away on driver removal, but now when clicking add device, it actually takes me to the windows settings instead of opening its own Chinese software, so I'm definitely making progress. the windows settings thinks it has Bluetooth now, but it wont find devices and I cant see the computer from my phone, so either the driver is installed, but maybe its thinking it has Bluetooth and isn't actually working with my USB Adapter, or, I just need to restart.

I don't think you are understanding. the Driver works, this has nothing to do with the driver. the problem is the driver does not do what I want, and realistically what it should have been designed to do, and so I need an alternative way to set it up. Please read my post

I mean i mentioned this in the Post lol. its a Baseus Bluetooth USB Adapter using BRLink Drivers. The Computer itself is kind of irrelevant, this is a large problem with all these USB Adapters on their various drivers. i haven't seen one that by default worked directly in windows, and I need to know if I can make this one work, or if there is a specific one to buy.

Hello, How do i get one of these Junk USB Bluetooth Adapters to Tell Windows that it actually has Bluetooth? All of them, Including the Baseus One Using "BRLink" Drivers That I currently have now, Puts an Icon in the Tray that you can click to Manage Bluetooth, But Windows Doesn't actually know it has Bluetooth, So i cant use things like Nearby Share, Which are Asking windows if it has Bluetooth, and obviously Windows says no.

Ive shared a Folder on my local network so I can access it from my phone, But how can I make the read speed faster? i have 350 down and 25 up, the computer is wired, the phone obviously isn't, and when trying to read a file its doing about 12mb/s-16mb/s read speed. it is a WD120EFAX HDD And not an SSD, but I figured it would at least be a little faster? Most of the files I'm trying to open are 400-2000MB.

No. If you are Fully Reinstalling Windows, Or Just Resetting windows, You are wiping it. you cant pick to keep your license and Nothing Else. i don't know why someone would ever Sell their Used laptop without Wiping it first to begin with.

So after wasting my time on a 5 minute video on how to regedit The Windows 11 Explorer back to The Windows 10 Explorer, i find out That Microsoft patched this. My New Samsung Laptop came with windows 10 and im not losing all my Drivers and Samsung Software to go back to windows 10. i reverted the right click desktop menu, Now i need to revert explorer, so what am i supposed to do? Windows 10 Explorer literally still exists and can be opened manually, But im not going to press An Additional 4 Buttons Every time i open explorer just so i can switch from the windows 11 explorer back to the windows 10 explorer. Unfortunately i cant just pin the Windows 10 explorer instead since it shows up as the same thing being open.

I don't use iphones, Samsung cloud now dumps some data into Onedrive, which means all my 500gb of photos and videos go into Onedrive. Backblaze cost money, I already have $650 in drives, I'd like to get an enclosure and finally utilize what I bought and have sitting for two years without some monthly cost, I don't mind manually backing everything up as needed, I just need to know the best option for an enclosure. I know Synology is good, and probably the best alternative to the now gone Drobo, owc seems to have some two bay enclosures that cost as much or more than a Synology one, is there any advantage to them over Synology?

What model would you recommend? I currently use Image for windows, but if they have backing up built in that would be fine. I see the DS220+ for $300 and the DS220J for only $189, though it looks like it could be some old model, and the DS223 for $249, which looks similar to the DS220+. both 2 bay, I can't figure out the difference or which I should get, or if I should go for another model all together. I will do research tomorrow on Synologys software. I'm willing to spend more for them if it's worth it.

External, having two separate enclosures does not solve my problem, unless there is some significant protection of having to manually mirror everything to the two drives, then I see no reason to not just go with raid 1. I want to both put images of my desktop on it, but also manually copy my portable Drives to it as well as copy Onedrive to it to keep an entire backup of all of my files from everywhere. Being external means it would not sit connected to my desktop, should there ever be a virus, the virus would not be able to touch my Drive Enclosure. The USB C is not 100% a requirement but I would really like USB C as it allows me to plug in a phone to do the SSD Copying, and use. A laptop to do the onedrive transferring as my desktop is on a 4 year old windows install which causes a lot of problems such as trying to download my entire onedrive.

So I want to create a Storage system for Basically backing up all my data from everywhere, so everything from image backups of my desktop, to manually doing a copy of 250gb or so from my portable SSD to downloading a copy of my onedrive. I currently have two brand new WD Red 12Tb drives, unfortunately I believe 5400 RPM, so I was thinking of using those with raid 1 so if one fails, I lose nothing? Or is there a better option here? I have some other used drives like an 8th and 4tbs, but with Drobo going bankrupt it seems like they are nolonger supported, so I shouldn't waste my time buying a used one on ebay. Should I just find a cheap raid 1 enclosure (preferably with USB C so I can plug in my phone or USB c laptop to directly access files as needed) and use the two drives in raid 1, giving me 12tb which is enough for now, or should I do something else?

So then i have to have this software running at all times, (Hopefully it would auto start with windows and not need to ever be touched) so it can auto detect when i press Caps lock or number lock. No one can tell me why my desktop does it on its own and has been since i built it and installed windows? i never set anything up to do it, its just always done it, and ive always been trying to figure out how to replicate it on another windows device.

What is the on screen keyboard going to do for me?

Ever since i built my Desktop 4 years ago it has always showed this simple little white indicator whenever i turn on or off caps, number or scroll lock. since my keyboard is in a drawer and i cant see half of it, this is great since i cant see the keyboards indicators. Ive gone through 3 samsung laptops in the past 2 years, and every single one has had the same design of keyboard where the Caps lock has a little LED to know when its on, but stupidly the Number lock does not. So im trying to figure out how to Put this little on screen indicator from my desktop onto my laptop? Windows is stupid and Constantly disables Number lock when the computer is asleep, so i need to be able to simply press it and see on the screen if its on or off before i go to use it. I have done research, and every single google result tells you to go to settings and enable the notification, but the notification is a weird loud beep. i want something silent on the screen. the only thing i could find related to on screen, was Caps Lock Indicator from cli.jonaskohl.de and i didn't really want to download from this random website.

So im adding a Vertical Mounted 32" 1080P Display To my Setup, the bottom half will be used for Security Cameras in a browser, the upper half wont be used often but will just be extra space. Is it possible Using the Nvidia Control Panel to Tell Windows that my Vertically Mounted Display is two Seperate monitors Split Horizontally in the middle? the reason i want this is so i can easly snap two windows into the monitor without having to just put them there and then manually resize them to fit

I have 3 Monitors with one up top for security cameras, i need another one for security cameras, and need to replace my viotek with a dead pixel line, so it would become another extra monitor, so id have 6 total most likely. i probably wouldnt go to 7
